CLOCHE PARTY - Reminder This Friday

Mark it on your calendar. This Friday 6/19 is the "Cloche Party". Remember you can use your cloches, apothecary jars or any type of container that you use to decorate and display in your home. We want to see all the different types of creations you make and where you use them. I can't wait to be inspired by all of you.

Below are a few examples I've found. So take pics of all those various containers you decorate so beautifully and join the party.

Remember you can schedule a post for the future if you're going to be gone. So come on and join in the fun.

I want to thank all of you that have displayed the "Cloche Party" button and helped spread the word. I really appreciate it. I look forward to seeing you all there.

Hugs, Marty

  9. Marty! Help!
OK, please for give my ignorance, because now I am confused.
    Could you please define "cloche".
Because I always thought some of the examples you are showing pictures of were "apothecary jars". I always thought a "cloche" as the same as a Bell Jar, in layman's terms - a "cover" for something served on a serving piece or not on anything at all.
    THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!
This just looks so fun. I can't wait!

  10. Oh, I'm trying so hard to think of something I could use to participate in this party. It sounds like so much fun. I don't have a cloche or an apothecary jar, but I'm going on a scavenger hunt in my house to see if I can find anything that will work. I hope to participate, but if I not, I'll definitely come look at everyone elses!

  17. Hi Marty!
I don't have a cloche and didn't know what one was till I saw your examples... See, I'm always learning! Anyway I have one of those TALL glass jars with a lid, so that's a cloche? I don't even know how to pronounce that! ;) HaHa!
Hope your week is off to a wonderful start!

  24. Hey Sweet Marty, I'm back to pay you a visit and apologize for not being very active lately. I managed to do a couple quick posts this past week..but other than that, very little action in my visiting. I have advertised your blog button for the Cloche party this Friday on my sidebar at the top. I am hoping I can participate! I have missed my blogging friends these past weeks. ~CC Catherine

  25. Well Marty my friend I finally figured something out and I am joining your cloche party. Yippee!
    Gosh I hope it counts...:)
It isn't a typical "cloche' but I think it works somehow.
    Thanks for hosting!
It was fun making it tonight.

It will be a triple post for me for the first time. I've noticed other bloggers do this so I thought I would try that.

Can you pay "Sharon" at "Fiberdoodles And Whimsy" a visit. She is a sweetheart and I believe would like your cloche party idea. She's on my blogroll if you get a chance. ~Thanks. :)

  29. Hi Marty
I just saw your comment. I did my cloche post today. It's scheduled to publish tomorrow around 4PM. I can't wait for you to see it. Ironically, I did a small cloche post in March 2007. I think you will like the current cloche post. It includes the wire cloches.

Thanks for your comment on the table post!!!
