FALL CLOCHE PARTY - Hurray it's Here!!!


I am so excited that our next "Cloche Party" has finally arrived. All of you guys always inspire me so much and I just can hardly wait to see what all you have created.

My redoing of the cloches started in my kitchen. I have my favorite rooster cloche that I use there and so I thought I would give it a little bit of a fall look.


I've already shown you most of what I've done. This just holds a few things from the Dollar Tree,but it give a little bit of a fall touch to the kitchen.


This is really hard to photograph, but the cakestand and "cloche" that I found at the GW was the perfect place to add a few more items from the Dollar Tree.


Another cloche was the perfect size to add a few fall flowers and small gourds to for a different touch. It is such fun to see what all can be done with these versatile pieces.


I've already shown you this arrangement that I made for the buffet in the dining room. I really like the brown and cream tones.


My chicken wire lantern cloche. I just left it with a candle and a few flowers. This one is also wonderful to decorate inside. I have some fantastic ideas for fall centerpieces.


This one you've already seen too. Just a little fall decorating with Dollar Tree things for the buffet in the breakfast area that I use as a desk.

This one you've seen too since I have been reminding you so often of the party. Anyway, this is on an end table in the LR. An antique plate, a tusk, faberge egg and a antique magnifying glass. Just a bunch of random things, but fun to look at.


This one I did to celebrate school starting and my great-grandson starting 1st grade. He was so excited to be a big boy. I used my mother's slate, an old Primer, a pair of glasses, a pocketbook for lunch money and an apple for the teacher. The Crayon box was also my mom's.

  6. Marty, these are beautiful! Alas, I'm cloche impaired so I didn't get anything together. I really love the one with the primer, just because it's full of such special things.     Ohhh Marty...I just love what you've done with all of your pretty cloches!!! So beautiful...so autumn!!! I think my favorite is that gorgeous vignette that you did for your buffet...I just love that big cloche with the bird on top and the smaller one as well...but I really love the browns and creams that you did...that just really takes my eye!!! I'm still droolin' over that wire lantern cloche...it's just so unique! I can't wait to see a tablescape with it!!!

    Well Darlin'...this is just the bestest idea ever...to have cloche parties!!! I've had so much fun decorating mine and joining in!   54. Man, I have never seen so many cloche thingies at once...is the plural cloches? I had never heard of the word until you mentioned it. ..Yours are all very cute...what I like about the idea is the ease of dusting;-)....kind of makes me think of a museaum, or a bakery with things in glass!

I must say - I love the last 2 the best. They are unusual and it inspires me to do something "different" with some of my cloches.

  100. I love the wire cloche! Pumpkins are so cute! I had plenty of time to prepare, lol but I did not get finished. I have more on other tables. I was not going to join, but then I found a slipper, added a purse and I came a little late!

    You have the most wonderful cloches and the most wonderful ideas for what to display under them! I love the chicken topped one in your kitchen...but my fav display has to be the one with your Mom's treasures. I've never seen a real slate, though I've heard of them, and I've never seen a crayon box like that...just amazing to see it! Thanks so much for sharing your creativity and all these wonderful family treasures!

    I love your rooster cloche! and all the fall colors! and what a beautiful glass bird cloche with the gourd, leaves and feathers.
