Tablescape Thursday - Weekend Breakfast

Yeah, today is Tablescape Thursday and we all get to play with our dishes. Susan @ Between Naps On The Porch is our gracious hostess. Be sure to visit her blog to see what a beautiful tablescape she always has to show us and to find a list of all the wonderful participants.

I am out of new dishes, and I am now into recycling some of the ones I already have for a tablescape. I can't possibly store one more candle, much less another dish. lol This tablescape is done with things you have seen many times before. For the centerpiece I am using my gorgeous Rooster Cloche that my son gave me with some fall decorations inside. The candlesticks came from the Dollar Tree and the tablecloth is from GW.

The pumpkin inside the cloche came from the Dollar Tree also. I just added a few feathers and some greenery.

I'm using two extra leaf bowls to hold candles, and also using the pretty leaf salt and pepper holders. They all have such lovely fall colors.

Each place setting is set with a rattan placemat, Pfaltzgraph Village plate, white leaf dish I found at Marshalls, and another pretty leaf bowl that came from Walmart.

The juice cup and mug are part of my Pfaltzgraph Village set. These are my everyday dishes, and I have used them for many, many years. Still love them.

The napkins are a recent find from the GW, and each one is held with a different farm animal napkin ring. I love this chubby little pig.

Isn't the rooster just too cute.

Such a cute little rabbit.

And I also love this precious little duck.

One final look at the entire tablescape.

Please don't forget that we are having an Az. Blogger lunch on the 30th of October. If you havn't notified me yet, please click the button on my sidebar for all the information. I would love to see and meet you all, so I really hope you will try to come.

Thanks for stopping by today, I always appreciate your visits.

I used dishes I've used before, too. Just in another configuration. It's fun trying different combinations.

  7. Marty, again, you did it again! Beautiful. I laugh when you said you can't buy another dish. Hubby saw apple items at CB today and he said, this looks like a Tablescape...I said, no, no....I cannot buy anymore dish, centerpiece, serving dish..nada!
He actually looked surprised! Hope you are having a great TT!

  9. I'm glad to see someone say they are reusing dishes they have used before. I'm just getting ready to give this a try, but I don't have nearly the things many of the others do, even though I have lots.

I used to have the blue Pfaltzgraf dishes. We used them a long time. I finally sold them in a garage sale so that I could fill the space with something new. I still think they set a pretty table.

  12. Marty, I'm glad to see you use your dishes again. I feel like I have lots of dishes, but if I'm going to keep at this will be using some of the same dishes again and again. Hopefully I can think of creative ways to mix things up each time so things look a bit different. Your table is beautiful as usual! ~ Sarah

  30. Ultimately, I think the real talent in tablescaping is when you can use what you have in new 'scapes so that it looks so different and new, no one recognizes the pieces from before. And as a viewer, it is wonderful to be able to see the things we admire used over and over again. You have done a fantastic job on this 'scape and really do have that talent! I love the dark tablecoth for the drama it provides with your fall colours.

  31. Marty, your little extra touches always raise the bar! Adding the feathers to the $Tree items was a great idea.

Its amazing how your napkins from GW match your Pfaltzgraph Village sets & they are "NEW" dishes to all of us who just joined the TT party. :D All of them together make for a very pretty table.

I wish I was going to be in AZ so we could meet. My 2 older sisters will be there, visiting with my youngest sister in Gilbert, AZ. I wanna go too!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  34. Lovely fall table.

We've got to recycle our dishes or there would be no room for us to live! Sometimes my family thinks I've already used up too much living space with my dishes. But there always does seem to be room for one more...
