I thinks its great the way you had touches of whimsy with the polka dptted ribbon (you know how I love polka dots lol), so that it wasn't too serious. This is one of your prettier tables, I think. 51. A Belated Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Marty! I adore your B/W tablescape, because I always think "FRANCE" when I see B/W. The placemats are absolutely my fav and match one of the Tea Cosies I just made for a young friend of mine. I'm praying I get to visit more often. I've missed you and your creativity! Do you remember the elderly couple that I featured in a post at the end of February last year? I had taken them a Tea Party. They celebrated 67 years of marriage earlier in 2009...he has just been taken to the hospital and is in ICU at age in his late 80's. It doesn't look good. Can you please pray for him/them today? Elouise & Barney are their names. She's a dear dear writer friend of mine. Thanks Sweet Marty! See you soon! ~CC Catherine

  67. The black swan is gorgeous! Especially with her bows. I am so kicking myself because I saw a big white one @ Goodwill last week, when I was out of town @ the beach, and didn't get it. I have seen swans all over blogland this week, and have kicked myself 100 times. I'm going back next week, but doubt it will be there. Smart move to buy yours when you saw it. The black plates are pretty too w/ the white.
