42nd Table Top Tuesday

Welcome to the 42nd Table Top Tuesday.  I am so happy you've joined us.  I can't wait to see all of your beautiful vignettes this week.
I'm finally getting a little of the Christmas up.  Music is on, I have a cup of tea and I am singing along.  Doesn't get any better than this.

We don't have a fireplace.  Here in the desert, that would be a total waste. lol  So, the top of my China Cabinet gets the garland and my Santa.

I have had this Santa for years, still one of my favorite Christmas decorations. Love his beautiful robe, and he's carrying a toy horn, a christmas tree and packages.

Two large hurricanes with greenery, a pointsettia and candles.

For the coffee table, I thought we would celebrate the reason for the season.

My birdhouse Church seemed appropriate.

An open Bible and a Cruicifix.

Some candles and a scrunched table topper and I am calling it done.

Just a little tease, don't forget the Christmas Cloche Party on the 10th.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I always look forward to your visits.  Be sure to link up below so everyone can find you.

  10. Hi Marty...

Ohhhh...your china cabinet top looks sooo pretty, my friend! I just love all the old Santa's! I have one with the same type of robe...in fact, he is in the post that I'm doing to TTT this week! The beautiful Christmas garland and hurricanes look gorgeous!!! And...I just adore your "Reason for the Season" vignette! I think it's so important to remember the reason that we are celebrating Christmas in the first place...it's so easy to get consumed with all the fun and festive things...so I love this!!! Marty, that table topper is gorgeous...I could use that over at my place! Hehe! Love your beautiful Nativity under glass...the soft blue and creamy white of the figurines is sooo pretty! Girlfriend, I always love coming to your fabulous home! I always leave feeling so inspired...thank you! And...thank you for hosting another week of Table Top Tuesday...it's my favorite party!!!

    Love ya,

  32. Hi Marty. It seems like forever since I stopped to say hello. Your home is looking quite festive! Love the birdhouse church vignette. So pretty!

Someday...soon I hope...I'll have tablescapes to share. All my tables are "nekked" (as Shelia would say) as everything is being packed for what has to be the longest move in history! I am so weary of this 2 house limbo.

    Happy Holidays to you!

  47. Hi Marty,

This week, I linked up a tutorial for how to make a free wreath base because I use wreaths a lot in vignettes - but I do appreciate that it isn't actually a table-top in itself so please feel free to delete if you'd prefer.

I am still mulled for your cloché gig, Lady M! Am so excited to see your FAB designs. I just wish that Sweden soon, will sell nice cloché. We/swedes just started to appreciate the beauty of it.

  56. Marty,
Thank you for hosting todays 100 participants of your Tabletop Tuesday! Your Santa reminded me of the one from our childhood. MoMa loved that old Santa and every grandchild drug him from one room to the other.Your Nativity taking "center stage" on the coffee table won my heart today! You are such a blessing to me, dear friend!
    Fondly,
    Pat

  57. I love the birdhouse and everything. One tradition in my family is that we don't put out baby Jesus until Midnight because he isn't "born" yet. My younger niece gets the honor!

  62. Oh, Marty...I love it!

I felt so happy for seeing the Bible and the Crucifix. It's interesting, but not everybody has the "courage" to speak about their faith anymore. It seems that many people forgot that speaking about the Lord is very important and it's what he want us to do, to share His Love for Us. You showed your faith and that's great, Marty. Your home is very blessed. I think that we all can "feel" how beautiful and loved it is.

    xo
