First, just a reminder that the Arizona Bloggers are having a Coffee Get-together this coming Saturday at 2:30 on the 22nd at Paradise Bakery at 99th Ave. and Mc Dowell. Mary Ellen @ Mary's Meanderings is coming in from Colorado and how fun for everyone to get together and to meet her. Email me if you are able to make it at firstname.lastname@example.org. Hope to see you there.
One of my greatest thrills is when one of the grandson's calls and says they're going to drop in. I just love it and of course as any grandma does, I always want to feed them. Now boys don't really like fancy, so I just grabbed a few things and set the table really simple and masculine.
The small pot of ivy was on the kitchen counter along with the acorn and the candlesticks were on the coffee table. They make a perfect simple centerpiece for guys.
Placemats, dishes and linens all have a masculine feel.
Tortise and wicker chargers with my everyday Pfaltzgraph dishes and a checked napkin.
These cute placemats with the pocket and tab seemed the perfect ones to use.
We all love milk for dinner so the matching Pfaltzgraph tumblers are perfect.
Super simple and still pretty for a wonderful time with the grandson.
Don't make it fancy, just make it fun and enjoy the company. If you look around you can pull all kinds of things together for an inviting tablescape.
I am linking to Susan @ Between Naps On The Porch for Tablescape Thursday.
Thanks so much for stopping by, I always look forward to your visits.
