Spending My Christmas Gift Certificates

Don't you love those gift certificates that find their way into your Christmas stocking.  I got a couple and so today was the day to go shopping.

I wanted a new black purse and found this great Gucci bag in a very deep Steel Gray.  Lots of pockets inside to keep me organized.

A wonderful sweater with leather front in Black.  This is so cute on.

This top is gray and black and it fit like a dream and so comfortable.

I loved the first one so much I bought the same top in the black stripe.

I have to show you this also because it is so special.  My daughter thought this bag was too big for her so she gave it to me.  I don't think she's ever carried it.  A HERMES, can you believe it!!!  Talk about snooty, I am definitely going to carry this puppy.

Did you get gift certificates for Christmas, if so, show us what you bought.

Thanks so much for stopping by, I always look forward to your visits.

  7. I love that black and grey top Marty. And both of the purses - I am a purse fiend :) I did receive gift certificates, but they were all for books lol. And one of them was for kindle e-books, so I guess nobody really wants to see pictures of my kindle ha ha. Glad you had a good day shopping! Hugs, Kat

  22. What fun things you got with your gift certificates!!

WE received a STarbucks card and a Safeway card from 2 thoughtful couples for Christmas-

I also got some Christmas money that I have tucked away in my wallet for something special- which I don't know what it is till I see it!!

We are coming down your way after all! We have been so busy with things that haven't even had time to decide if we could do a trip but as our missionary friend is having health issues and really would like to be there to help celebrate his life we are going. I do hope we will be able to see each other and would love to see Ceekay again too! I will email you with the dates to see if a time would work in your schedule :)

  31. I love both of your bags! Gorgeous! I didn't get any Christmas money or cards this year which is fine with me because I usually just let them sit as I dislike shopping.

  32. Both bags are elegant and investment pieces. Well done. I love the striped shirt as well. Very nautical.

  33. First, I love every choice you made and think the Hermes purse is wonderful. I would snooby around town with it too. LOL

As for me, I have a gift certificate sickness. I have thought about blogging about it, even. I just can't seem to "spend" my gift certificates. I can't decide what to get.

That's why they sit on my "101 List" Sigh.

  34. I have been hunting for new purses lately too. Please, let your daughter know that if she has anymore bags that are too big I'd be happy to take them off her hands!

  35. Wow, Marty, you got a lot of cool things. Lucky you. ;)

  36. We believe in the 'you' is more important than the 'me'. We are givers ... so I only have my heart to share in giving.

Actually, Marty, we don't do gifts for ourselves for Christmas ... we give/take gifts to old folks at nursing homes with no kin left or are left behind, children that have little or families that are in need of a little help ... we've done this for years.

You received some lovely gifts, how sweet the blouse & sweater. You will look stunning in them.

~ Our GIVEAWAY ends tonight ~
    Have a beautiful weekend ~
