Welcome to the 77th TTT. This is always so much fun, and I always look forward to see all of your gorgeous vignettes and displays.
The other day I showed you how I added a runner to the coffee table to add some color and light to a dark wood piece.
I also showed you this side of the table that you see as you walk into and through the room. However - - -
So, next time you do a vignette on your coffee table, add a little of the unexpected to the backside.
Thanks so much for joining in, I can't wait to see everything you've been up to.
I am linking to the following parties:

I love the sofa side of your coffee table! Your frame is perfect with your runner and as far as your great-grandson, what a cute little guy he is!
ReplyDeleteHi Marty,
ReplyDeleteYour coffee table display is gorgeous! And you're right - we need to think about making our displays 360 degrees so they can be viewed from all side! Love It! Fondly, Susie

ReplyDeleteVery pretty!
Cheers!
Marty, your table is fabulous! I love the floral centerpiece and of course, I agree with you, a table should look good from all sides. Thanks for sharing yours.

Marty,
ReplyDeleteYour great~grandson's framed photo adds the dimension that so many decorators are eliminating...personal touches! What an adorable little man. I'm sure he has stolen your heart! Your coffee table is gorgeous! Not having a coffee table when I was growing up or until the last few years, this is one area in home decor I struggle with. You, dear friend, always provide the inspiration I need! Thank you for hosting this treasured weekly meme!
Fondly,
Pat
Beautiful setting, Marty.
ReplyDeleteFor the life of me, I can't figure out how you and others have so many
vignettes around their home. I guess we just live all over our place. Our coffee table is mostly kept open for drinks, snacks, ....just plain living.:) It seems we use all our table tops for...well...magazines and the ever present, coffee cups.
I never have been much good at displays...but you sure do them well.
Awww, how blessed...a great grandson! Beautiful home, beautiful accessories. Yes, it is difficult to get it a vignette look nice from all sides :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting this~
Shawn

I strongly dislike the coffee table in my living room. I think I need to scrunchie up a runner. It would help!
ReplyDeleteHi Marty! thanks for hosting, but also for that tip for decorating both sides of the coffee table! Clever, I never thought of that.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Patti
What a sweet idea!
ReplyDeleteWhat a handsome guy he is! I love how the frame matches the runner. I know how easy it is to forget about the backside. You need a little something. Nice job!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty Marty, few people think of decorating both sides... love the picture of your great grandson.. Thanks for hosting each week. hugs ~lynne~
ReplyDeleteHi Marty,
ReplyDeleteYour table is stunning! What a great idea to make it different at all angles.
Love your things....so classy! Beautifully done.
Blessings,
LaDonna
Hi Marty, thanks for hosting. I always enjoy all your changes. Your centerpiece is so gorgeous...I love magnolias!
ReplyDeletelovely table, Marty!! thanks for the perspective of looking at design from different angles..I tend to look at one perspective ("head on" - or what someone would see as they walk in the room) but this is some good advice!
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely table. Cute grandson too!
ReplyDeleteThat little guy is adorable and the floral plate is really beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHi Marty, as usual your living room looks wonderful - your cushions are some of my favourite even though I'm not an 'orange person'! I must tell you something- I have been placing my table runner as you do - a little bit scrunched up and every person who comes into my diningroom straightens it!!! Do you ever have this happen?
ReplyDeleteSuzyq
I loooovvvee this!! I've struggled (and still do) with making my vignettes interesting from all sides! Super cute! Also I am sorry, I linked up my post wrong...and can't delete it! I hope 'Jessica' is okay as a title!! Also please feel free to delete it if it doesn't qualify as your theme. I'm sorry!!
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy reading your posts! You have such a beautiful home!
God Bless you,
Jessica
What a cutie you have there in the picture. Your home is always so lovely and I enjoy seeing all the new changes that you make each week...
ReplyDeleteBless you Marty..
It looks lovely, Marty! Picture perfect!
ReplyDeleteMarty, I love the floral! It just looks as if it is bursting with joy -- what a pretty piece.
ReplyDeleteLovely table.
Someday I will attempt to 'scape a coffee table; ours always has cold coffee and books on it. Not pretty!
Cass
Such a warm and inviting space, Marty. You have a real knack. Your great grandson is adorable too. Can't wait until I become a grandma! Thanks for hosting.

Hi Marty...
ReplyDeleteMy friend, your coffee table vignette is beautiful! Ohhh...I just love your floral arrangement with those gorgeous magnolias. Did you make the floral arrangement? You are always soooo talented with doing that! Anyway, you are absolutely right about how challenging it can be...to make an open vignette interesting all the way around! I think you pulled it off beautifully, dear friend! I love, love, LOVE that picture frame! It looks like it was made just for your beautiful vignette...color coordinate and design style both! And...of course your little grandson is just precious! Love your table runner...it's gorgeous, Marty! Thank you so much for the vignette tips today...sure do appreciate it! I think that adding an interesting picture to the backside of the floral arrangement is such a good idea! I will be keeping that in mind! Also...thank you so much for hosting another TTT party for us! You're the best, my friend!
Love ya,
Chari
Beautiful coffee table display, Marty! Love it when people add those wonderful little "warm/fuzzy" photos -- he's adorable! First time in awhile I've actually had a table top to submit -- although it's a bathroom counter top which I hope is okay! Can't wait to grab a few minutes & go snooping around!
ReplyDelete:) CAS
I'm just checking in to say hello! I haven't been changing my table tops around much this summer. I put out my shells and have just left them out all summer. I'm starting to think about fall...it is a bit soon, but it will get here before we know it. Then, the shells will be packed away and the pumpkins will come out!
ReplyDeleteI love your table display. The colors are so warm and inviting. Thanks for hosting today - I haven't joined one of your parties in awhile!
ReplyDelete-Shelley
