I will be so Blessed to have all of my children here together for Christmas for the first time in 15 years this year. I really wanted the tree to be the star of the show since it always was when they were small, so I kept all the other decor to a minimum.
It is filled with angels, doves, toys and ornaments gathered over the last 50 yrs.
The chest in the front window showcases my favorite Santa. I have a really small collection, and this was my first and largest, so he is really special. All the Santa's in my header are part of my small collection. I love that he has a tree, a big bag of gifts and a horn tied on his sash.
A couple of beaded ornaments to finish the vignette.
A simple bow is all he needs. I love his all over scroll detail.
The dining area has just some minor changes as well as the buffet.
I added my Nativity scene to the cloche and a few ribbon loops to the floral arrangement. A Wise man, angels and a cow from the manger surround Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus.
My smallest Santa was placed on the buffet. I thought the gold on his robe went with the gilt of the fruit arrangement.
An evergreen garland with poinsettia's and glittered fruit on top of the china cabinet.
A simple Christmas ready for the Blessings of family and friends.
This has been such a fun week and I have so enjoyed the Christmas Blogger Block Party.
Today I am joining these fabulous parties:
