More Tweaking and Details, Details

The other day I showed you the silver tray that I did a copy-cat and put above the stove.  You can see that post here.  Well, one thing really bothered me, I loved the silver in the kitchen, but my really cute little rooster picture was framed in gold, and it didn't look so good, so I swapped out the frame.

See the gold frame on the rooster pic.

Better don't you think?

They always say everything is all in the details.  I am trying to pay attention.

See that "wash" on the counter.  I have a fun project for that.

  3. What a nice painting. I lost my old blog by mistake and I have asking for help to get some new followers but the person I asked don't help me and she have a very big blog. Why? I had many followers from the US. Sorry to complain to you but you seem to be a very gentle person.

  8. You are so funny and we are so much alike. I am always focusing on the smaller details, even when in my mind - I know there are much larger projects I need to be tackling. LOL I do like the frame makeover. Loving your kitchen with the touches of bling. Hope you have physically recovered from your all-out war on dust bunnies. :) Hugs, Barb

  9. It is those little details that can make a difference, Marty! I know when something is not right to my eye, I will constantly see it every time I enter the room until I "fix" it.

  17. Personally I don't think the gold frame "stuck out" all that much. Today gold and silver are used together in table settings, jewelry, etc. However, with my own OCD tendencies:) I can definitely understand your need to change the frame. I love everything you do...you have such great taste and a fabulous eye for detail. I want to hire you!
