As usual you guys have inspired me again. I keep seeing how you keep the table set and how pretty it looks, so I made a small change on the breakfast table.
I was previously just using one runner and the rooster on the table. I made these runners years ago and decided to put them both back on and do a mock setting.
I love how the morning sun casts shadows on the arrangement. Makes the candle look like it is glowing and shows how beautiful the feathers are.
A tiny wood flower and a pretty bow spruces up any arrangement.
I've had these stems for years. I found them at Pier One and love the etched palm trees. I think they work well with the tortise chargers with the wicker edges, sort of a neat tropical look.
I use to keep the table set this way in our previous home all the time, fun to do it again. Thanks so much for stopping by, I always look forward to your visits.

So pretty Marty! Using 2 table runners makes a table look so welcoming! I like your napkins fluffed up on each plate.
ReplyDeleteVery Pretty! I like the color combination.
ReplyDeleteI usually kept my table set with decorative settings when I worked. Now it stays cluttered with projects, laptop, etc. I really need to figure something else out.
Enjoy your evening.
Great table setting Marty! I keep both my dining table and breakfast table set at all times...I love the look!

ReplyDeleteI saw a white chicken or rooster soup tureen the other day at Good Will, Marty, that had your name all over it. Looked good as new with a lid and ladle. I didn't check it any further than that because I'm not into chickens or roosters, but I remember thinking you'd love it! It would look great on your table.
ReplyDeleteIt all looks so cozy and inviting. Can I come to breakfast :-).

ReplyDeleteMarty, I get inspired by bloggers, too. In fact you have inspired me many times with your creative abilities. Take your centerpiece for instance. I love what you did with the arrangement in the rooster. The feathers and candle were a nice touch. Everything matches very well with the pretty runners and other colors in the room. Thanks so much for showing your gorgeous table at my party.--------------- Shannon

Good looking table Marty. I like how you used two table runner. That gives me an idea, I just bought a table runner but couldn't figure out how to use it on my round table. Now I'm going back to the shop and see if I can get a second one to match. Thanks for the inspiration.
