Forgotten Treasure

Don't you love it when you find a forgotten treasure. Things have been packed away so long in the guest bedroom, and now that I am clearing it all out, I am finding some long lost treasures. I was thrilled today when I discovered this picture.

I have taken all the blinds and drapes down in preparation to paint, so it is really bright, sorry for the glare.

This is such a pretty picture and such a great Hunt Scene.  This hung in the den in a previous house.

See the riders in the background, it has such fabulous detail

I am finding all kinds of treasures that I forgot about.  This one still has the tag on the back.  I bought it at a thrift store in Oregon for $8.  Love it and what a bargain.

I am joining Rhoda @ Sounthern Hospitality for Today's Thrifty Treasures.  Since mine was a thrift shopping piece, and I just found it again today, I thought that qualified.

We have part of the house taken apart preparing to paint also.:-) I didn't find a treasure like yours, but who knows...I might.

Hope you have cooled down a bit. My son said it had been quite hot for a bit. We're finally supposed to warm up into the 70's this week after being quite cool. Finally, things will really start to grow!

  17. Just like Christmas...I do love going through things I have packed away and finding a treasure I had forgotten about. That print is very familiar. I have a friend that had it in her family room in a really large version. Her colors were all pulled from it. You might have a real treasure there. Looking forward to seeing your guest room redo.
