This is one of my newest finds that I havn't shown you. Isn't it wonderful. Such gorgeous colors and huge, plus it has a rooster painted on it. For $4.99 I think it's a bargain.
Then I showed you these great finds from last week, so I needed to play with some of them too.
This corner of my kitchen changes the most. It is a place where I can pile a ton of stuff and it is definitely the center of attention.
A sunflower just because I love them and the color is perfect with the bowl.
I always love to use a bundle of wheat, it just adds so much to any vignette. A couple of bunches of grapes spill out onto the counter for some added color.
A view of the rest of the side counter.
This is how the kitchen looks today, you can never tell about tomorrow, it may just change again. lol

ReplyDeleteYou definitely have sound some great pieces at Good Will. They are perfect in your kitchen vignettes. I actually found a silver round tray today at the consignment shop. About the same size as the one on your counter.
ReplyDeleteLove the glass pieces. The cloche too of course. I found an enormous cloche at a thrift this week too. I have done nothing inside my house because I live in the flower garden these days.

I love how you change things around frequently in your kitchen. I'm hoping to do the same next week when I have spring break. Your GW has the best stuff. It must be so much fun to shop there.
ReplyDeleteYour kitchen is lovely and you have such a flair for putting vignettes together - love the corner with your new treasures (did it take a long time to get that pasta in the skinny-neck bottle? haha) and your photos of the close-ups are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLove your vignettes, Marty. The new bowl with roosters is very cute and can be used in many different vignettes. I see that you join some parties so I invite you to Your Cozy Home Party on Mon. night through Thurs. night. Some very nice people join us so you would fit right in. Love your new corner vignette. I am always looking to see what you do next with that corner :)
ReplyDeleteMarty, thank you for coming to the party and so quickly. I appreciate it very much. Concerning the mean comment that some spoiler left, maybe she should just mind her own business and not worry about what others do in their own home or blog. Was that unkind of me? I hope not!-------- Shannon
ReplyDeleteThanks. I love it that we have a delete button so we can just delete and ignore someone that is so full of sour grapes they can't enjoy life. So sad.
DeleteBeautiful vignettes Marty. I'm thinking that you live in the Phoenix area because we have the best GW stores in the country. Did you know that there are about 48 GW stores in the greater Phoenix area? Hubby and I have made a quest to get to all of them. We can do about 8 in a day before we get tired out. We mostly shop in the west side because we live in Peoria. I've been to GW Stores in many other parts of the country and they just don't compare. You find so many beautiful treasures. I really love your kitchen. Happy spring!
ReplyDeleteWow Marty, your GW has some wonderful things!!! Ours never has a thing;(:(. I have been SEARCHING for some SMALL cloches like the one you got forever, but they are never in my price range:):) Love all your new finds and how you have displayed them! XO, Pinky
ReplyDeleteMarty, I found your blog on Sweet Nothings. :) Nice to meet you! Your kitchen counter treasures are so sweet. I love what you've done with your GW finds. So welcoming!
ReplyDeleteMarty, what exactly is GW because I want to go?!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry to be so lazy that I am using initials. GW is Goodwill. I am really sorry. I shop mostly at the one on Grand Avenue in Surprise Arizona. I hope you live here so you can shop there too.
DeleteI think I could almost shop for you...I see things now and they remind me of your house! If I found a cloche like that at GW, I'd be doing the happy dance!!
ReplyDeleteMarty, you are the all time queen of table tops and counter tops!! I don't know how you do it. I do try but am never happy with the outcome! Never!
ReplyDeleteI need to go to Goodwill. It's been ages..our Goodwill is nothing to scream about!!
LOVE your counter vignette! Adorable..as always! Little cupcake thingy..sooo sweet.
Sooo ...sweet bowl.. :)sooo can I have it?? LOL Guess not! Seriously, what a great find!
ReplyDeleteHi, Marty! I wish I could hit the GW a little more often then I might find some great deals like you find. Love bowl and as always lovely vignettes!
ReplyDeleteYou find the best treasures at GW. I'm going to have to give it another try...maybe a different location than the one I last visited. I love that you are always changing things in the kitchen. Looks great every time!

Nice kitchen and great vignettes there. The idea of constant remake is also great. A good way to give the same space a whole new and exciting look. Good job! :)

Hi Marty, I was just at that very same GW in Surprise on Saturday for the half off sale. Were you there too that day? Wouldn't that be funny if we were there at the very same time and didn't even know it?
