Toile - Ticking Stripes - Muslin- Love, Love, Love

I think Toile, Ticking Stripes and Muslin were all just made for each other, so you can just imagine how excited I was when I found all three at GW.  I love the scenes that are depicted on Toile.

Aren't these scenes gorgeous.  Beautiful black and cream, so classic.

Plus the best thing is that this fabulous fabric is on a gorgeous thick, poofy, super-cool comforter, brand new, full/queen size and perfect for the guest bedroom.  Can you believe it!!!!!!!

I was so excited to find this, and then I started looking for the matching pieces and I found them too.

This was the price on the comforter.  Did you hear me squeaaaaallllllllllllll really loud?

Plus it reverses to this wonderful windowpane plaid.

Black and cream ticking stripe euro shams.  See that $1.99 each.  Unreal.

Dust ruffle in muslin for $3.99.  I couldn't get to the checkout counter fast enough.

25% off for Senior Day, so look at the price for all of it.   $24.69.  Can you believe it.  I am so excited, I can't wait to change the room up for the seasons.

I thought I had found the best bargain in the world when I found the current brown/red comforter that I have on the bed for $10, but I think this whole combination beats that.  I have just been yip-skipping all over the house, love, love, love the toile.

So have you found anything that just tickled you pink lately?

  7. WHAT a BARGAIN you got there girl, but it just goes to show how much good things can be found in charity shops all over... the combination is perfect for your room, just a little country with the hunting scenes, parfait I would say!!! I have semi furnished my house with bargains from these shops, and otherwise I would never have managed at all... takes a lot of looking regularly, but the outcome is like yours, marvellous... jolly well done.. cannot wait to see it all done, it will look so smashing!! 23. Marty, what a beautiful find! I remember when I was growing up my mother had black and white toile curtains in our kitchen window over the sink. I wish I still had that fabric! It was even classy for our kitchen window. I've not had any luck at the thrift store lately. It seems the really good stuff is just not there and their prices keep getting higher. We had 2 Salvation Army thrift stores but they both closed. ;( I found a bedspread at my mil's house today though. It appears to be made of flour sacks or muslin (not sure) but it had a pale blue chenille all over it in flowers. Rather unusual combo don't you think? Have a great day! Pamela
