Looks so yummy Marty!
ReplyDeleteLooks really good Marty! After losing 25 pounds on a 100 carb a day diet, I have continued to watch my carbs and now try to keep them at 150. To speed things up, try eating only protein first thing in the morning and then have a few carbs a little later with more protein. This helped me tremendously. It took me 6 months, but getting down 2 sizes is worth it.
ReplyDeleteThis looks so delicious!
ReplyDeleteThis looks so yummy! I'm always on the look out for low carb food ideas. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteSmiles,
Carol
I hope I can find that flat bread here at my store. Such low carbs...yeah!
ReplyDeleteYum Marty. I am trying to lose a few over here too. It is hard isn't it?
ReplyDeleteThis looks delicious. I am wondering where you find the Miracle Whip with only 15 calories? I have both the regular MW (90 calories/1T) and the light (25 calories/1T). Dianne
ReplyDeleteYou are right, my mistake, it is 25 calories. That still makes this only 105 calories. Not bad.
DeleteI am also trying and really watching carbs (my downfall, being Italian, is pasta!). I am going to look for this bread. I make wraps with lo-carb tortilla. This bread looks really good. xo
ReplyDeleteMarty that looks good!!!
ReplyDeleteALL THAT for 105 calories!!!???? This is my new go to lunch!!! I hope I can find those breads???? XO, Pinky
ReplyDeleteMarty, that looks really good. I am trying so hard to eat better and move a whole lot more. Got blogger butt.
ReplyDeleteIt looks great. I am starting to count carbs too and it is so hard for me. I love my carbs, but to lose weight you have to do things you may not like.
ReplyDeleteThat looks so yummy, Marty. I haven't seen that bread here. I'll have to look for it when I get to a larger supermarket.
ReplyDeleteMarty..
ReplyDeletethanks so much.. hardly anyone posts things I can eat but you did. I am a long long time carb counter so this appeals to me lots..
I'll have to see if they sell those wraps in my area or if I'll have to order them on line. I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to give them a try.. looks soooooooooo yummy.
thanks again
xo

I make something similar, Marty...but I add a few extra calories I am afraid. I add a few cashews and a few cranraisins and a few sliced grapes. Now that I saw it here- I think I need to make it again. Your recipe is healthier than my own! xo Diana
ReplyDeleteThank you Marty for this awesome recipe! I lost lots of weight in 6 months, that is 22 lbs. and I'm always looking for something new to add to my low calorie daily intake and this sounds yummy and perfect. I just got back home from almost a month taking care of my grands, so I probably missed a few of your terrific posts! Have a wonderful weekend.

Marty, where do they carry that bread out here in AZ? This post just comes with good timing as I am also going back on the low carb diet to shed a few pounds. Thanks so much.
ReplyDeleteLooks wonderful!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I'm also trying to do better about what I eat. :)
ReplyDeleteLooks delicious. Makes me hungry!
ReplyDeletethis looks healthy, good and delicous...and lo-cal too, what a treat.
ReplyDeleteThat does look good and filling too!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing Marty, I need to look for that bread!
Trying to get a little caught up here after a week of family visiting~
Big Hugs friend,
Cindy
I hope those things aren't regional because I would love to try them. I'll be on the lookout.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE lavash bread, it is a recent find of mine too ... and that chicken salad looks so great. Now I need something to eat. :)
ReplyDeleteI have never seen that bread before but will try to find some. This looks delicious.
ReplyDeleteI also didn't know about subtracting the fiber from the carbs. Hmmmm.
My daughter told me about these wraps a few weeks ago and I found them last week. They are so good and filling. I've been putting some lowfat mozzarella cheese in mine and folding them over...then I grill them in a non-stick skillet, add a little salsa...yum!
ReplyDeleteMarty -- I LOVE Lavish bread and the fact that they are so low in carbs is a bonus!! Your wraps look terrific.
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
Gail
Marty,
ReplyDeleteI've never tried Lavish bread! This looks good, and healthy! I'll check this bread out next grocery trip! Thanks!
Fondly,
Pat
