Dove Review and $500 Spa Gift Card Giveaway

In conjunction with Blogher and Dove I have been given a sample of their new Body Wash to review.  They have several formulas, I received a bottle of their Dove Visible Care Toning Creme Body Wash.  This new product is designed to promote skins elasticity and strength.  I could definitely use that since older skin seems to have lost both and my skin is super dry.  This new product contains a mild cleanser, glycerin, stearic acid and vitamin E.  It has a warm ylang ylang and delicate wood fragrance with robust citrus notes of mandarin and Italian bergamot.  Ok, now if you read all of that how in the world could you not think this was going to be glorious.  So into the shower it went and I was off for a weeks worth of showers to see if it improved my skin.

Product Description:

More beautiful skin from a body wash? Absolutely.
Designed to help promote skin’s elasticity and strength, this unique formula — with our highest concentration of NutriumMoisture™ and added Vitamin E — contains skin natural building blocks to help improve skin’s look over time.
See visibly more beautiful in just 1 week, and with continued use, see even better results in 3 weeks. Use daily for soft, smooth skin.

I have always used a deodorant soap in the shower, the same one my DH uses, then I would slather myself with tons of lotion when I dried off.  My skin looked and felt tight and dry most of the time and I just thought that was old age.  However after 1 week, I do have to admit that their claims are pretty much right on.  My skin definitely has a much smoother and more toned appearance and it definitely feels much softer.  Seeing a picture of your skin up close and magnified is kind of scary.  As you can see, there really is a difference.

Ok, I absolutely will continue to use this new body wash, I really do like it and my skin feels wonderful.  Fabulous lather and the smell is heavenly.  Love, love, love it.  Be sure to check them out at http://www.dove.us/.

  1. Thanks Marty I will try this product because I know how dry the Arizona weather can dry you out. Like you mentioned that after you shower you have to slather on the lotion which is what I do out here.
