This Weeks Thrifty Finds

I have had some really great luck this week with all my treasures.  I showed you my $20 La-Z-Boy that I found here, actually a matching pair, so I gave one to my son, but I didn't get a pic of the $59 sofa that I found for him.  It is perfect and looks totally brand new.  He loves it and it works great in his living room.  I also gave him my old recliner for his familyroom and it looks super too.  He is just about done now with his house.  I will take pics soon, it is looking really good.

Now onto the rest of my goodies.  Isn't this little sign the neatest thing.  Painted on glass.

I hung it above the stove.  I just think it is so cute.  Gw find for $2.99

Love this pretty platter, such a nice large size.  It will be great when we have the whole family over.  $3.99.

Such a lovely shell motif on the ends of the platter and the scroll work around the sides is pretty too.

Now why in the world would anyone have two matching decaters.  I found the twin to my first one and it is also marked Towle 24 % lead crystal, Made in Poland.  This one was also $3.99.  I just had to have it for that price.

Then I saw this fabulous vase.  Again, it also says Towle lead crystal and is stunning.  It weighs a ton just like the decanters do.  I put a few faux flowers in it for now.

Isn't this the prettiest apricot color.  I love it.

For now the vase is sitting next to the decanters on the dining room buffet.  A ton of sparkle through that window for sure.

How was your luck this week, did you find a ton of goodies?

  10. I've only found a couple of items. The blue basket in my current post, and a little wooden crate that I'll show before too long. I went to my favorite consignment shop today, and carried a pillow around for a while, then decided I really didn't need it, so I left it there. I'm on the lookout for a really nice rug for the powder room. I'm glad you've had good luck. The crystal is so elegant. Those decanters are especially pretty.
