Burnt Orange and Brown

I am so ready for Fall and since we are supposed to be down into the 90's this week, I just had to add a little more Fall decor to the house.

My first choice was to add some to the family room.

Since my LR and FR are open to each other through a large opening, and I added a little bit of rusty/orange to the LR, I thought adding a little of this same color tone continued the flow.  I kept the LR really subtle, you can see that post here.

Again, I am using what I have and this deep burnt orange was previously in the LR, so I pulled it out and it is perfect to spice up the FR.

 Just one pillow was enough and the throw is actually the table topper I was previously using in the LR.  Works great here.

 The breakfast area is all part of this room, so I added a few touches in there too. ( The kitchen is open to this area also, I am standing behind the island taking this pic. )

As I lived with this a few hours, it seemed like the orange napkins on the table just screamed.  I am trying to practice the art of  "subtle", not "screaming", so I added the brown check napkins with the orange and it toned it down just right.

See what I mean, the brown and orange together is much better, don't you think?

 I had already added a little orange to the shelf the last time I redid it, and a little to the wall basket.

 Just a couple of additions to the rooster centerpiece was all it took.

 Dollar Tree leaves and a berry pick.  All things in my stash.

 Bright and cheery.  I love how it turned out.  So fun.

I love to change things up and it's even more fun if it doesn't cost a dime.
