Shopping at Tar'Jay

I havn't been in Target for a while, so I went in looking for some basic tee shirts, didn't come away with anything, but I did take a stroll through the housewares section and I picked up a few goodies there.

Of course I couldn't resist this fabulous dog figurine.  I have an ORB small one just like it, and this one is just as stately.

Works well with my Hunting Theme accessories.

I also couldn't resist this bottle "West Gate Equestrian Center"  We have an area here called West Gate where they have the Equestrian shows and competitions.  So it was pretty fitting.

Since my son is going to be here for a few months this winter while he is working in the area, the last thing I could think of for the guest bedroom was a dirty clothes hamper.  This one is brown cloth on the outside with a cotton and mesh liner.   I thought this was a great find for $9.99.

My bathroom is done in camel, cream and black.  I saw some really pretty towels that had a lovely camel and cream design, plus on sale for $5.99 for the bath towel and $3.99 for the wash cloth.  So a couple jumped right in my cart.

Layered with a couple of black hand towels, it looks nice and fresh.  Love that.

Have you been to Target lately, they have totally updated their homegoods sections and they had some great things at really good prices.

  17. Your house is always so put together. What mine wants to be when it grows up and a few of the kids move out. For now we just have to maintain and keep clean. So nice to have your son for a bit. You will enjoy it I know.

  25. I usually stroll through Target pretty regularly and am always surprised at how trendy some of their home decor is. Your equestrian bottle is a good example that they are keeping up with the trends isn't it? I don't know why I am still surprised, because I have seen this many times before. I guess I just always expect them to have more modern type of decor only, but I am glad they keep adding such a nice variety. I love the new towels too!

  30. I am such a sucker for Target that it's gotten to the point where I wait in the car and let my husband go in. Otherwise I always come away with one thing or other. Or maybe two things. Or more!

  31. I recently was able to find bird towel in Target in June and I love them! Also, my daughter was able to get me in her Target (about 150miles away) a beautifule Hydrangea print! I also got some Magnolia flowers for my Spring Floral urns! You never know what you will find in Target and sometimes you can get a clearance sale...All I can say is that you see something and love it you better buy otherwise it will be gone..."he who hesitates is lost"!
