She is finally home from the hospital and on the road to recovery. Friday Laura and I had the opportunity to take your gift to her. Laura is such a doll and dressed up in this wonderful Minnie Mouse costume, she brought some gold Mickey Mouse ears for me. Doesn't she look absolutely adorable. When CK answered the door, we yelled "CEEKAY, YOU'RE GOING TO DISNEYLAND". She just looked at us stunned.
When we gave her the check, she looked at us with total disbelief and tears welled up like big puddles in all of our eyes. She couldn't believe so many people came together to fulfill her "special wish".
As you can see in the picture, she is still very weak, but she is on the road to recovery. It will just take some time. Such a special answer to everyone's prayer.
I can't begin to tell you how Blessed I am to know Laura who started this whole thing and who made all of the Elves that she sold in her Etsy and donated to the "Elves for Ceekay" fund. Also all of you that were so generous with your donations, prayers and help in spreading the word. Blogland Sisters are definitely the most caring and loving people in the world. Thank you all so much, you can't imagine how much you have Blessed CK and I am so touched to have been able to be a part of it and to get to see her face when she got her gift. We raised enough for her to be able to take her whole family for a special time together with no expense out of her pocket. You all definitley made her "Special Wish" come true.
Meri, a sweet friend was our photographer on this trip. I am so sorry I didn't get a pic of her, she is such a sweet and special person. Thank you Meri.
So, thank you all again so much for helping to make this wish come true. This is the season for giving and you all gave the most precious gift of all, you made a dream come true. God Bless.

This makes me want to laugh and cry at the same time! You both really made Ceekay's day showing up at her door with the good news. I was so glad to be a part of this. Marty and Laura...thanks for all you both did!
