Apple Green, Orange and Cream Plaid for Spring

Now you all know how much I love color, so while the Aqua  I had for a while was stunning, and the Apple Green was wonderful too.   (You can click on the colors to see these previous rooms.)   I just needed to add a little more color for spring

Still using what I have, I added a little bit of plaid to the green for a little brighter Spring color scheme.

Adding one orange pillow really spices up the colors.

This is an arrangement left over from Christmas, but the colors are pefect.

An antique box that I have had for years.

The orange candles came from the Dollar Tree.

Totally different look without spending a dime.

I love shopping the house, how about you?

  5. I do it all the time Marty. I seldom buy new decor. Your colours are soft and springy. Have a great week! Pamela

  6. I have an attic ready and waiting for a shopping spree! I guess, this is one of the many joys of growing older-we have accumulated so many treasures. When I want a bit of an update I have found that spray paint is one of my best friends-or chalk paint! Your colors are just lovely and reflect the beauty of Spring!

  7. Very pretty, Marty! I love the orange and green together. Your plaid ties both colors in very nicely, too. Love that box. It reminds me of the ones you used to be able to find at Bombay.

  8. Marty, you did again! Another beautiful arrangement just from shopping your home. Just to goes to show what good taste you have.
I use to have valances made from that same orange and cream fabric. I had them in the sun room of our old house. I think I still have them stored somewhere. I love your floral arrangement.

  9. Super pretty, Marty! I've always admired that plaid fabric when you use it - beautiful. Shopping the house is great - and something alot of us forget to do. It's amazing what a little moving of this and that can do for a room. Lovely! Jane

  10. I love the pop of orange you put in the room...and it is not an "in your face neon" orange either. Subtle and very pretty with the plaid. I love your
    Spring look- xo Diana
