A Feather Bouquet

I love using feathers in all kinds of arrangements, and I even like to have an urn full of feathers like a bouquet.  I think all the different colors are so pretty.

I've had this wonderful bouquet of feathers on the bathroom counter for a while, and it suddenly dawned on me that another bouquet might be just what I was looking for to change up my end table vignette.

I think these feathers will work really well with my rooster lamp and my little frenchy farm couple.

Isn't the light wonderful shining through them.

A simple vignette with my rooster, frenchy farm couple and a bouquet of feathers, just enough for my sidetable. (Oh yeah, I do need the peanut butter cups too.)

So tell me how do you use feathers?

  6. I used pheasant feathers in my Christmas greenery and tree the last two years. We even have a pheasant in our subdivision that I get a peak at occasionally. The feathers are not his however.

  7. Marty I love your use of feathers. I always think I should save some when the chickens drop them though they aren't as regal as the feathers you have. Are they pheasant?

    1. Yes, Pheasant that I got online, I can't remember where, but there were several places that sold them really quite economically, at least much less than Michael's or Hobby Lobby.

  9. Marty- I used to have feathers in a couple places and then we got a kitty and the kitty attacked them. Now the kitty is gone and I wish I had my feathers back! Your vignette is beautiful and I think the peanut butter cups are the feather in your cap, Marty! xo Diana

  21. I love moving things around too. I was thinking of gluing some feathers on some owl ornaments I am making for my Christmas tree. Looks very nice. And yes, the candy is very important there.

  24. I have a few pheasant feathers tucked into a silk floral design I have. They always add a really neat dimension.

I also have a floor vase with white peacock feathers from an albino peacock from a park we visited we were given - that was the day my husband proposed to me. I cherish them.

One of these days I will share pics of them but until this renovation is done everything is put away. And did I mention it is absolutely driving me crazy with my world turned upside down? LOL.

Love your new display, looks AWESOME!
