Sunshine on the Dresser

I still love the pillows and colors I have in the Master Bedroom, but I did want to change a few things on the dresser.  I love using family photos, and finding really unusual or ornate frames make them look even more special.

Adding just a touch of spring with the candles and the pretty yellow tulips.  I really like to mix up the frames, I think it adds so much interest.

A spot of sunshine on the dresser.

  10. Marty all your frames look very pretty on your dresser. I collect frames with the jewels in them or what I like to call blingy frames! The tulips are beautiful, I can not believe you got those at the Dollar Store. They look so real!

  11. Yikes! Did I forget to leave my comment. Of course I had to enlarge your wedding photo to see if I remembered you from high school. I have all of my annuals. What a lovely vignette you have created.

  13. It's all so lovely looking. One of your tablescapes on the blog incorporates the bust of a young child, could you tell me where you found it? Thanks! Sally

    1. I left a message on your blog also. I found it at Goodwill. There are no markings on it so I am not sure where it came from.

  15. I love to decorate with family pictures, too. Your variety in frames is really pretty here. (Of course I have to admit that my favorite part is the vase of yellow tulips. Love that. Happy!)

  16. Your bedside chest is beautiful and the vignette that you've created is really nice. You have found some very pretty ornate frames and the clock fits in perfectly.

  19. I agree.... matchy-matchy just doesn't give the same feel. After all, whenever you read books about french decorating they always say the main theme is make a home feel like pieces have been collected over time. That each piece has a history. You sure have created that with the top of your dresser!
