Yes, That Is A New Mirror

You guys are so observant.  I love it when you notice all the details.  After the home tour a couple of weeks ago, several asked if this wasn't a new mirror for the bathroom.  (You can still see all of the homes that were on tour, just click on the pic on my sidebar.)

Yes, it is.  It's one I found at Ross for $24.99 and I loved how the gold was done in almost a linen like texture and the dark wood complimented the vanity.  Secondly, it is bigger than the one I had, so it is a better size.

This is the previous one I had that I painted gold - - -

then I did a spatter of walnut stain to give it some character.  It really does look ok, but I like the other one so much better and the size is better too.

It's not ornate like I was originally looking for, but it really is pretty.

The dark around the edges compliments the picture frame really well.

For $24.95, I have a bargain and a great looking mirror that works really well.

Have you found any great bargains lately?

  25. Marty,
The new mirror is beautiful, and I keep looking at your French-script ceramic accessories. I've seen them before, but still like looking at them every time you show this bathroom.
