I love the check fabric on the table and the pillows, so I pulled out the check pumpkins I made last year and decided to use them on the coffee table to continue the frenchy, country rustic theme.
I elevated the larger pumpkin on a brass tiered stand that I've had for years. It gave it some importance.
This is the tutorial I shared last year on how to make fabric pumpkins. Mind were really simple, this is what I started with this year. Just a couple of leaves, so I thought they needed something extra.
A little shiny gold and silver to add some glitz and sparkle, a few acorns and I was done.
I think it flows well with the glitzy rustic centerpiece I created for the dining table. You can see that post here.
I love the look of gold and silver and I like to mix them in a room.
I am really enjoying the browns and greens for a softer look for fall.
I left out orange this year, how about you, did you decorate with the traditional oranges and reds?
