Spring Wreath & Front Porch

Our front porch isn't very big, so I like to keep things really simple.

A couple of rockers, some planters and a wreath to say welcome.

I've had this wheat wreath for a while, so to change it up a little all I did was add a big hydrangea bloom.

I am still really enjoying the garden stool I painted two years ago and it still looks like new.

Just enough to say welcome, come and sit a while.

I am in full spring mode, how about you?

  1. That looks so cozy and welcoming, Marty! I'd love to come sit and visit for a spell!

Yep, I'm in full Spring mode too. Took all my plants out of the green house yesterday and planted a couple of tomato plants. Keeping my fingers crossed, we're done with really cold weather. :)

  12. Your porch is very inviting Marty! I planned to hang my Spring wreath yesterday but when I pulled it out it needed lots of help! I've had it several years, so time for a new one? Hope to either spruce it up or purchase a new one today! Happy Spring!

  16. The front of your home looks lovely and inviting, Marty! I am not in full Spring mode yet, but hoping that it changes this week. We head up to about 65 degrees tomorrow, so I'm hoping to get outside and enjoy it a little bit.

  17. That wheat wreath is beautiful and simple and classic. I want to sip some tea in one of those rockers!! BTW, super jealous you can keep a fern looking so beautiful. I absolutely love ferns on a front porch, but plants come to me to die. Esp in HOT East Texas. I SO wish I could get some ferns and rockers! A girl can dream.

  23. Your porch is just beautiful and I'm in awe of all the greenery! So pretty. I know you must be enjoying this time before the heat comes.

Marty, I sent you an email about 2 weeks ago regarding some friends of ours that bought a home in Phoenix. They are coming to shop for furniture and accessories and I thought you might be able to recommend a few places that I could pass on. I know you are a busy lady...maybe the email got lost in cyberspace! lol! If you have the time, let me know what you can think of.

    XO,
    Jane

  30. Marty, your spring wreath and front porch are so pretty and inviting. But the drool dripping from the side of my mouth is from...is that leaves and flower blooms I see??? I think I just felt a tear in the corner of my eye now too. We are still covered in snow and have freezing temperatures. Oh how I long for some Green and warm sunshine. Wish I could transport myself onto one of those chairs!
