The Most Famous Throw Pillow

I think the most famous throw pillow ever is this one from Ikea.  I have seen it in tons of pictures and in magazines everywhere.  I think it is totally stunning and what a statement for $10. (Fabulous pillow cover, gorgeous fabric and a zipper too.  Perfect. )

Can you believe one little pillow can make such a dramatic statement and also change a room so dramatically.

Before you noticed the tangerine in the floral arrangement and the pillow.

Now the thing that grabs your attention is the pillow.

I am always fascinated by how one little change can give a room a dramatic new focus.

What one pattern or color makes the most dramatic change in your rooms?

  1. Love the pictures you posted with the gray sofa and they are lovely! I think gray would be a good choice too, especially if you "live" in that room. I'm sure whatever you decide will look beautiful:Exclusive Poise Chair

Your living room is just lovely and so inviting.Curling up on the couch with a good book is my idea of relaxing in the summer...:) Have a blessed Sunday.

  11. I love the pillow Marty, what a great addition to your living room. It's a bit late in the day for me to make a 3 hour trip to IKEA (Bloomington MN) so I may have to take a quick trip to Jo-Ann Fabrics and find some material similar to that one. I really like the look and could use a quick fix like this in my den. Thanks for sharing!
