Monograms And Crystal

I have been having more fun with the monograms that I ordered from
11 Magnolia Lane's etsy.  These monograms are so beautifully made and transfer so easily.  I ordered one of the combo's that they offer with 3 different sizes.

I put the largest one on a beautiful glass container I already had, and the medium one on a glass pitcher I own.

Don't these look amazing.  I use this bowl for a ton of things.  Sometimes it is for a trifle, then other times it holds a large candle, or even a fabulous bouquet.  The monogram elevates it to a whole different level.

This is my favorite pitcher and the medium monogram looks fabulous on it too.  I like to have a pitcher of water available when I entertain, so this will look so elegant.  I am loving this idea.

I used the smallest one on my day planner.  It gives it a beautiful custom look.

My head is spinning with all kinds of ideas.  Using these monograms to personalize gifts is definitely on my list of things to do.  These would be perfect for a Wedding, Shower, Birthday or any occassion.

I have a couple more to put on his/hers shams or pillows.  I need to get busy sewing.  How about you, do you like monograms?

You can still link up to Inspire Me.  So much to see so check a few things out.

    1. I've hand washed them and so far good. I was careful around the monogram, so I think you have to wash with care.

  6. Oh I love monograms, wish I had some personal ones, as we only own family heirlooms monogramed items. I love the pitcher!
Now would they come off when you wash them, or do they have a lifespan?
    Thanks for sharing Marty.

  9. Marty, I just saw this--they look great! You are becoming addicted to those monograms, but I am happy to keep you supplied. :) You can tell everyone that asks that for this kind of vinyl, hand-washing is recommended. I do throw mine in the dishwasher since I have a never-ending supply, but they only last about 6 months before I have to replace them. If you hand wash, you'll get much longer out of them. If you have time, please come and link this up at our Pretty Preppy Party! XOXO, Christy
