Now I have had my own tool box for years and I am really picky about it. If I let the hubby use any of my tools they might or might not get back to me, so I keep an eye on things. My dad built custom homes and I was his "boy", so I grew up with a hammer in my hand and walking rafters. Then it was only natural that in my corp. life I was a Lumber and Building Materials buyer for one of the big box chains. I love tools, so I was thrilled with my new toys. We don't have any use for high end carpenter tools anymore, so affordable garage workshop tools are fine for what we do now.
Last week was our Anniversary and ulike most couples, we like tools. My mom and dad always had his and her work tables and we are definitely getting there. I have been wanting an electric brad/stapler. So what better gift for our anniversary.
I have a special project that I am going to start, so these new tools will be put to good use really soon. Now all I need to do is buys some plywood, foam, batting and fabric. (See, these really need to be repaired.)
Stay tuned for a step by step tutorial.
