Hall Bathroom - Starting Over & Re-Grouping

Ok, some of the things that I thought were going to be fabulous about the bathroom redo havn't worked out so great.

First - paint has been a real trial.  Well, I finally have a nice off white that doesn't look pink, green or anything in-between.  Now that is 6 different times of painting this room.  I am more than done painting for a white.  The Ikat fabric that I used for the shower curtain is very nice, just not me, so I am giving it to a friend.  It will be perfect for her.

I havn't found a mirror that I like, so I am still using the old one I had.  I did get a fabulous birthday gift that is going to be wonderful, and that is the beautiful tissue holder and the tray holding the drink glass and soap pump.  Aren't they gorgeous.  Stunning black and gold Le Bain.  I love them.

I found one piece of art that I absolutely love and you can see just a tiny corner of a fabric that I think will really give me the look that I am wanting.

Here's another sneak peak too.

Finally found a faucet that I like and it is being shipped asap, so hopefully it is perfect when it gets here.

Ok, I am on a roll now, so stay tuned, the final reveal is coming soon.

Also, don't forget, mark your calendars for the 2015 Welcome To Fall Home Tours.  (Here's a little sneak peak)

Be sure to get all of your projects lined up for Inspire Me Tuesday.  Party goes live Monday afternoon at 3 PM CMT.  Can't wait to see you there.

  9. I applaud you for all the effort you're giving this room. Sometimes what we plan doesn't work out. My cabinet I painted in our dining room is mine. If it ever cools a bit repainting will take it place. Can't wait to see your bath

  13. Hi Marty,
I know what you mean about whites. They take on so many different hues at certain times of the day and night and how the light comes in a room too. I have found that if I chose a white with gray tones it does really well in my house. Whites with cream tones always were pink or green for me too. Love the fabric for the shower curtian it is gorgeous. Love the yellow and gray being added in. Your vanity set is gorgeous.
