I love seeing all the fabulous displays at all the stores for the Holidays. So much inspiration and boy are they pulling out all the stops already. I did a little retail therapy shopping at a few stores last week.
A trip to At Home always inspires. They have so much and their stores are full of Holiday goodness. I could have bought half the store, but I was good and narrowed my had to haves down to two pillows.
Take a walk around with me and you'll see what I mean about being stuffed to the brim with Holiday goodies.
As I entered the store, this is what greeted me - -
Massive amazing displays filled with everything you could ever want.
The displays are so big you have to walk around to see everything on all sides.
You can find every style you ever dreamed of, so if you like country or rustic, you will find plenty of that too.
If you can't find what you are looking for here, you really have a problem.
On the way home, I stopped by the Dollar Tree. I always love to see what they have for the holidays.
I love their decor, but I was looking for some wine glasses. I recently broke 2, so I needed a few everyday glasses to replace them.
I love the cylinder shape of these. The flat bottoms are so different and look so chic and stylish. $1 each. Wouldn't these be great for individual compotes too.
( I also bought a large 2016 calendar and some gift boxes.)
A lady in line shared this tip - she picks out a different glass for each of her guests, (that way they know which one is theirs) then tells them to take it home at the end of the evening. The Dollar Tree has a huge assortment of wine glasses to choose from and this would be a fun idea for my next party.
My next stop was at Michael's.
I was armed with a couple of coupons and a gift certificate, so I had to see what they had. Like everyone else, they are full-on into the Holiday spirit. The store is decked out from top to bottom.
This is hard to see in this picture, but it will be a fabulous hanger in the middle of a spray I have for the front door.
When I saw this fabulous sweater deer with a fur collar, it definitely had to come home with me. This whole series is on sale for 40% off.
On another aisle I found a cable knit sweater pillow (also on sale for 40% off ) with fur trim that will go perfectly with my plaid and fur trimmed one.
Then as I walked the clearance aisle, there were two fur pillows and they rang up at $11.88 each. What a score!!
(I am heading to the store for some zippers so I can change all of these pillows out to covers. Plus they will look so much better with down inserts)
Wow, I was so surprised, as I started looking to take the inserts out, the fur ones already have zippers. That is definitely a bargain for $11.88.
All done, zippers in everything. I love this combination and I can't wait to start decorating. I think this will be perfect for the familyroom.
I see a theme starting to take shape and I am getting so excited.
Be sure to get all of your projects lined up for Inspire Me Tuesday. Party goes live Monday afternoon at 3 PM CMT. Can't wait to see you there.
