My Favorite Christmas Trees

I love seeing all the home tours and drooling over all the beautiful decor.  I especially love to see how everyone decorates their Christmas Trees.  I have a soft spot for a pretty tree and this year I've seen some absolutely fabulous ones.  Here are a few that are not quite the norm and caught my eye.

A traditional green tree done up in an over the top manner with such a fabulous Happy Holiday banner over at The House Of Silver Lining adds that something extra.

I love how Cuckoo4Design used a small tree in a fabulous brass pot on an end table and just look at those amazing hand cut snowflakes.

Nesting With Grace decorated this beautiful flocked tree with simple clusters of green balls and pinecones.  Love it.

Hymns & Verses shared this vintage tree that has now taken on a soft cream color is so pretty.  The silhouettes and sheet music garland are the perfect ornaments for this tree.

A fresh tree decorated with old fashioned and homemade ornaments is always perfect.  I love this one that Lynzy & Co. created for her beautiful farmhouse.

This pretty flocked tree with snowy branches from Thrifty and Chic is so pretty and love that ribbon trim too.

An old fashioned tree complete with tinsel is perfect and this one from Far Above Rubies is gorgeous.

and it's even more magical at night.

Do you like the "standard" tree, or do you do the unusual too?

If you like Thrifty & Chic on a Budget, I would love to have you follow me.

  1. Oh Miss Marty I am so glad you posted this. There were so many beautiful trees on tour. You reminded me that Darlene's tree made my heart skip a beat. The silhouettes of the older girl and younger boy reminded me of my own two children. So I went right over to her Etsy shoppe and left her a message. I had forgotten that I wanted to do this. What would I do without you my friend?!! You are a constant source of wonderful for me.
