Tablescape Thurs. - Simple Black and White

Yip-Skip, one of my favorite days thanks to Susan @ Between Naps On The Porch for hosting this really fun meme. Be sure to check out her latest tabelscape and all the others. You will definitely be inspired.

Today I've set a table in very simple black and white, using several different black and white patterns.

Black Swan - Found at Thrift Store years ago
Placemats - Ross
Clear glass candlesticks and votives - Dollar Tree
Chargers - Lace by Kennex
Dinner Plate - Royal Stafford Haystack
Salad Plate - Philippe Richard Brentwood
Goblet Etched Glass - Inherited from my Mother-in-law
Wine Glass - Etched Pheasants from GW
Layered Black and White Napkins - GW
Napkin Rings - Big Lots

Thanks so much for stopping by, I really appreciate your visits and your comments. I look forward to visiting you and seeing what you are creating.

  51. A Belated Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Marty! I adore your B/W tablescape, because I always think "FRANCE" when I see B/W. The placemats are absolutely my fav and match one of the Tea Cosies I just made for a young friend of mine. I'm praying I get to visit more often. I've missed you and your creativity! Do you remember the elderly couple that I featured in a post at the end of February last year? I had taken them a Tea Party. They celebrated 67 years of marriage earlier in 2009...he has just been taken to the hospital and is in ICU at age in his late 80's. It doesn't look good. Can you please pray for him/them today? Elouise & Barney are their names. She's a dear dear writer friend of mine. Thanks Sweet Marty! See you soon! ~CC Catherine

I have seen swans all over blogland this week, and have kicked myself 100 times. I'm going back next week, but doubt it will be there. Smart move to buy yours when you saw it.
