What do you think of when you think of your kitchen? I always think of all the vignettes and things I love to play with. These are the things I like to have around me and make my kitchen feel like home.
I am joining Little Red House for Mosaic Monday
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I can't wait to see you for Table Top Tuesday.
I love it Marty! I am working on a post for Tuesday's party. I am also taking notes from your kitchen to finish up mine! We are having a graduation/50th birthday party at our house on June 18th so I am trying so hard to get my vignettes looking good. Many trips to the thrift stores and a lot of crafty work to make them into something! Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteI always love your kitchen vignettes. When I think of my kitchen I think of my red antique cart, my kitchenaid mixer and my vintage scale. Mostly I think about my Hoosier cabinet that still sits covered in my garage because I don't have room for it until we move next year. Then my kitchen will feel like home.
ReplyDeleteYou have created some very pretty ones also.
ReplyDeleteAll the pretty things that you have make the heart of your home very warm, Marty!...Christine
ReplyDeleteAh, the kitchen is the gathering place. Where people are fed and souls as well.

Beautiful mosaic of your Beautiful Heart of your Home!!! LOVE IT! When I think of my kitchen, I'm sorry to say, "I'm Not finished with it YET"! I am TOOO FUSSY and I have a vision and I'm sticking to it. One of these days I'll give you all a surprise unveiling! I DO LOVE my countertops that were created from ancient woods from Dublin, Ireland. We used the "Coopers Oak Staves from the Guinness Brewery...My guys made them into GORGEOUS countertops that sparkle like fine furniture. LOVE THEM!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing your beautiful kitchen with us.

Morning girl...love your kitchen! I want one of those old scales and that little rusty looking thingy you have in the last pic with your silverware in it...love that! Hope you have a great day sweetie...Picket
ReplyDeleteLovely mosaic! I must admit I have no vignettes etc in my kitchen. We cook a lot every day so they would be constantly be moved . I like the clean look of bare counters except for
ReplyDeleteappliances, and I would hide them too if I could! My cabinets go to the ceiling so no play space there either,so I will just enjoy yours!
Lovely vignette...my kitchen feels homey because I use it. I know so many people who have gorgeous kitchens and never do more than just heat up something in the microwave. Mine is usually covered with wooden spoons, that were just used to stir pots on the stove and cutting boards covered in chopped garlic or parsley.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Penny
Marty, You have the greatest vignettes and I'm always inspired by them. I'd love to find a good place in my house to make vignettes. My kitchen counterspace is very limited..maybe another hutch vignette. Oh, I'd better go shopping for more things. :) Love your mosaic. It includes some of my favorites you've done.
ReplyDeleteSee you later for TTT,
Babs
What a beautiful mosaic...you have the most gorgeous vignettes. Always so much inspiration when I stop by.
ReplyDeleteYou know what they say, the kitchen is the hub of the home. I know it is for our home also!!! I can only imagine the wonderful meals you cook in your inviting kitchen. xo Kathysue
ReplyDeletePretty mosaic, Marty. Your kitchen looks like a wonderful place to spend time. You must enjoy cooking, and your kitchen certainly reflect HOME.
ReplyDeleteWe spend a lot of time in our kitchen, and it's always the busy spot when we entertain. Seems everyone always lingers in the kitchen.~ Sarah
Marty,
ReplyDeleteMy kitchen is so special because it stays clean! Since I seldom cook, I have a "No Maintenance" kitchen!
I just love cheese parties. When we were younger we would have friends over for cheese. They like the limberger whew. Looks good
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful views of your kitchen - it`s inspiring!
ReplyDeleteYour kitchen vignettes have been an inspiration to me. I try to play with things all the time. The reason no one sees my work in blog land is that I'm still not so swift at it.
