I always love to play with the bookcases on the entertainment center, so a few little changes and they are all ready for fall.
I really like the riding hat and my new little figurine, so this vignette stayed mostly the same, I just moved it to a different shelf.
I found this wonderful dog painting at a yard sale the neighbor had on Sat, so I had to use it to go with my hunt theme items . Love it and the dogs and scenery are so pretty.
The left side got a few changes also, and a few touches of fall.
This is the little arrangement I showed you in the previous post that I made using scraps of leftover floral grasses, berries and leaves.
A bronze ornate clock, ivy and a couple of tiny portraits add some warmth to this shelf.
Just add a little fall color, mix all different colors of metal and a little greenry and all of a sudden it seems like fall. You don't always have to change an entire vignette, sometime just adding a couple of different items and rearranging gives you a totally different look.

ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing those Fall decorating tips! I have not done one single thing for Fall so your advice to just change a little to make a lot of difference is good advice...makes Fall decorating seem do-able. Your bookcase looks fabulous and ready for Autumn.
ReplyDeletePretty! My two favorite things are the little figurine with the dogs and the rider in a red jacket and that precious photo of the cute little boy in the cowboy hat.

Looking good, Marty. Warm and cozy even though you don't get cold there.
ReplyDeleteYour bookcases look wonderful! I really like the mix of books and the polo items. You did a great job on your floral arrangment too.
ReplyDeleteMarty, your entertainment center itself looks very nice. I think it is the color of our kitchen cabinets. You have made it gorgeous by the artful arrangement of many really cute items. I like the pottery on top, the beautiful pictures, the little figurines, the touch of polo style and-- everything. You have added subtle touches of fall in a very clever way.
