I love decorating with pheasant feathers, and I see that a lot of you do too, however I don't like the high price at the craft stores.
Just a few feathers makes any arrangement look more elegant.
So I went on a quest to find some affordable feathers and I found some. I thought I would share with you so you can have some also.

They have a pack of 24 long pheasant feathers for $10.00 . That's a great price and they had super reviews. So I ordered some, can't wait to get them. I plan on using quite a few in my Christmas decor.
So, if you are in the market for some feathers, they have several kinds and the prices are all very good. I am not paid by them, just thought it was a good deal and wanted to pass along the info.

ReplyDeleteI saw another blog about pheasant feathers today, too. My hubby's grandmother decorated with them back in the 50's & 60's. I'm thinking she was ahead of her time.
ReplyDeleteOh I love Oriental Trading. They have so much great stuff as well as a lot of junk but hey something for everyone. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving Marty!

ReplyDeleteI love pheasant feathers and use them year round. I've acquired a lot over the years by purchasing them when they're on sale at Hobby Lobby. thanks for the suggestion of Oriental Trading. I didn't know they sold home decor type stuff. I'll check them out. That's a great deal for $10.
ReplyDeleteThe pheasant feathers really adds a finishing touch-thanks for the tip to go to oriental trading -I never would have thought to look there. :-)
ReplyDeleteI too love using pheasant feathers. They are plentiful in my Christmas decor, this year. I am also drawn to Peacock feathers lately. I lucked out and found both at an affordable price, in a small market, but have seen that the more popular they become, the more expensive they seem to be!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful arrangement, Marty. Oriental Trading really do have great prices....Christine
ReplyDeleteI agree Marty- I love them too. I will check that web page out. I used to get a catalog from them a while back. Thanks for the tip!

Hi Ms. Marty,
ReplyDeleteOn tomorrows post I talked about centerpieces. My favorite featured feathers. I just love what you did. Thank you so very much for the tip about oriental trading. I'll get there in time for next year.
You know I loved your previous post as well. :)
Happy Thanksgiving dear friend.
Pheasant feathers are so unexpected and classic. There is a subdivision in our town called Pheasant Run. They had a Christmas homes tour there and one of the houses had pheasant feathers all over the place! Yours are wonderful and add just the right touch. Happy Thanksgiving Marty! (I hope you got my check...)
