Here is what I had, a really bad choice, but I just felt like there needed to be something and this was the only thing I had, so it stayed there for a very long time. It really has to go.

This is the really simple rug that I use in the hall bath, so I wanted something to coordinate. I love the look of the sisal rugs, but not for a bathroom. This one is nylon so it drys really fast from damp feet, plus it goes with the tropical theme of the bathroom.

Ta-DA, found just the right thing at Ross. I never remember to look at rugs there, but this one is perfect and for $19.99, a total steal. 3ft. x 5ft. and super thick and fabulous.
Coordinates perfectly with the carpet color, tile and the rug in the bathroom.
It's the small details that seem to give everything such a finished look. I'm still trying to take care of all those "small details".

Love the rug. It looks perfect in your hall.
ReplyDeleteWhat a perfect fit, Marty!
ReplyDeleteMuy bonita la alfombra, además de que da buen contraste con los colores. Usted a estado muy ocupada realmente esta semana. Saludos desde Costa Rica.
ReplyDeleteYou and I have rugs on our brains today! I JUST ordered an 8x10 multi-color leather shag from Overstock! I cannot believe they only charge $2.95 for deliver NO MATTER what the item weighs. I'll send you a photo - or maybe I will post about it - when it arrives! Going in our living room over a carpet that was just professionally cleaned today. I wanted some visual punch and I think this will be just the ticket. Also, you and I share the same floor tile ... mine is in our kitchen and dining room!
ReplyDeleteThe rug is perfect in your hallway. It's always so hard to find a rug. I'm on the hunt for one for my kitchen now. They are all so expensive.
ReplyDeletePretty little rug, Marty! I love the fringe!
ReplyDeleteThat's a really pretty one, Marty. Especially the fringe. I can't use rugs. Dogs think it's peeing-ground.

that looks great Marty.. looks so thick and cozy.
ReplyDeleteThat is a great looking rug, Marty. I think next to picking a paint color the worst thing I can try to find is a rug. I sure wish we had a Ross here- xo Diana
ReplyDeleteMarty, what a deal you got for that rug. Looks perfect.
ReplyDeleteYour found the right rug for the right price! It looks so smart in your hall!

ReplyDeleteWell, i didn't think your other rug was all that bad, lol, but I do love this one. Very textural. Looks like your feetsies would sink right into it too. You did good. :)
