Do you walk right past things and don't notice them? I guess I need to choose one of these themes and stick with it for a while, or maybe I could just change them both. lol

Great shelf displays, Marty.
ReplyDeleteYes, sometimes, Marty. In fact, I realized that I still have eggs in my mini cloches on my master dresser. There are some small pinecones on an evergreen right outside our front door that I think I will pick off to put under them.
ReplyDeleteStill looks great Marty. I love the two mixed.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful display, love everything! XO ~Liz
ReplyDeleteThat looks great Marty! I love how warm and cozy it makes everything, perfect for Autumn!
ReplyDeleteJamie is on a cruise until about the 18th or something like that. But having e-mailed back and forth with her I know she was open to whatever we decide.
Your the best for doing this,
Hugs friend,
Cindy
Both look great. I love the beadboard backing on your bookcases - it brings in so much light.
ReplyDeleteMarty, I think it looks great with the two themes. It keeps your displays interesting. You have such a great eye and everything is always displayed so beautifully!
ReplyDeleteBoth sides look wonderful, I think. . . although I'm guessing that now that you've noticed it, it'll drive you crazy until you make them relate to one another in some way! You do a really good job of making both books and decorative elements look good on your shelves. And how cool that the shelves are lighted!
ReplyDeleteBoth sides are very nice Marty, but I like the country side the best. Seems the outdoor theme is fitting for this time of year. You have good tastes- I have that same cow!
ReplyDeleteYour bookcase is beautiful. I usually notice things when I take a photo of them. It's amazing how otherwise you can walk by something day after day and not notice.
ReplyDeleteSo rich and beautiful Marty! You are so classic and tasteful.
ReplyDeleteA woman after my own heart. I love my lighted bookcases! Your's look wonderful, so English manner type. Visiting you from Feather Nest Friday.
ReplyDeleteSusie at Puddle Jumper Creations
haha, well, they do both have a few pumpkins on them. They both look good anyway! I'm like Judy above, I notice stuff when I've taken a picture of it. ha.
ReplyDeleteI would have never noticed it....I think it looks great Marty.
ReplyDeleteDifferent but equally beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHi Marty and I love your bookshelves and you always have them looking marvelous. I love it regardless of your two sides. I'd never have noticed the different things if you hadn't mentioned it.
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Marty,
ReplyDeleteYour bookcase is always a feast for the eyes, dear friend!!! One of the many things I adore about my camera...it catches the tiny details I sometimes miss!!! I'll be back to see what gorgeous changes you make!!! Time for an Entertainment Center change On Crooked Creek, as well!
fondly,
Pat
Marty your displays are beautiful, I wouldn't change a thing! So many pretty things!
ReplyDeleteBoth looks are great, Marty. I know what you mean about passing by things and not noticing them and changing thing around. Me, too. Right now I have the fun Halloween look in the kitchen and working on a more spooky look for the foyer and living room. I couldn't make up my mind and just decided to do two different looks. Like you said, it can be always be changed. :)
ReplyDeleteOh, forgot...your book cases look great. I'd leave it for a while.
Hugs
Beautiful. Your house is always so warm and elegant. I just adore that cow!!
ReplyDeleteIt is funny, I miss things til I take pictures then think, "oh no, have to fix that", LOL! The camera seems to catch what we don't see. I love your bookcase dislay though.....BOTH thems:) XO, Pinky
ReplyDeleteThey both look so pretty I can see why you wouldn't notice :)
ReplyDeleteThey both look beautiful. I love all the details and the beehive and pumpkins are great.
ReplyDeleteCynthia
I do walk by stuff and not notice especially between seasons. I always forget to put something away. Your displays are beautiful and blend together well.
ReplyDeleteGood morning Marty. I think your bookcases are beautifully ecclectic
ReplyDeleteBoth sides look goreous Marty. But, I totally can relate to the whole "why haven't I noticed that before" thing! LOL I often get caught up in a new idea for an area and totally forget the rest. Thank you for sharing at TTF. Have a terrific day!
ReplyDeleteHello Marty, your bookcases look terrific - you have quite a collection of interesting decorative items - they balance each side well. I do appreciate you sharing with Home and Garden Thursday,
ReplyDeleteKathy
Oh Marty your book case displays are fabulous. I love your cow! Thanx so much for coming to THT!
