I kept most of the vignette as is, just a few small changes,
added some brass,
and a whole new look. I love how the rush seats of the stools add texture.

Another fun look just shopping the house.

Good Afternoon Marty, I love the display on your coffee table and especially how the woven texture of the stools can be seen underneath the glass.
ReplyDeleteI used to watch men and women making these seats for chairs, when I lived on the Island of Cyprus. They were very popular indeed.
Have a lovely day.
Best Wishes
Daphne

Very pretty, Marty! Love that globe! You are a woman after my own heart with your magazines on the table, too. I do love to keep my current magazines out on the coffee table to reread them ~ make sure I caught every article and picture.
ReplyDeleteAlways fun to shop the house and change things up. Everything looks so nice as always.
ReplyDeleteMarty, your room is gorgeous. You always have such a good eye and put together the most beautiful vignettes.
ReplyDeleteI am so happy I can post on your blog again. For the longest time, my laptop would not let me post to your blog. I don't know why, I am not a techie.
I just love your blog and read every post, even if I do not comment every time.
You are so 2013 with your brass accents. Leave it to you to be the trendsetter :) Looks great Marty. Have a super day!

Marty,
ReplyDeleteDear friend, you are such an inspiration for my life!!!
A few days ago, while working in the Lower Level Living Room,
I changed out many of the accessories on the end tables and
freshened the pillows. Not BIG changes, but HUGE impact on the
room!!! No money spent and such a steamlined appeal!
Thank you for always inspiring!!!
Fondly,
Pat
P.S.. . .and thank you for your sweet comment and visiting me today!!!
Hi Marty! Oh, how nice this looks. Everything you do turns out stunning!
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,

Great combination of elements! It has that global look...no pun intended. I love shopping the house, except I got rid of so much last year, now my "shop" is in need of some new "stock". Hugs and have a great weekend,

ReplyDeleteLooks beautiful, Marty! Everything goes so well with your pillows. You always have the best inspiration. Very pretty!
ReplyDeleteI wish I could do more vignettes on my coffee table like your gorgeous one. Alas, there are too many little hands in my home that like to take anything on the coffee table and 'rearrange' it =)
ReplyDeleteYour coffee table is so unique with the rattan under the glass. I like how you styled it. The black globe is really a statement maker too!
ReplyDeleteYour rooms are always lovely, Marty. The way you switch things up always keeps them fresh too. Wishing you a great weekend and great week ahead.
