I use to have a house full of primitives and still love them, however mostly what I have left are kitchen items. They are so fun to look at and I just can't seem to part with them.
I love scales of all kinds and I have a really small collection. This is one of my favorites. It has been put in the storage area for a while, so I thought it was time to give it a little love. Great piece and it actually weighs pretty accurately. Finding one with the original brass trays was a real find.

Playing in my favorite corner of the kitchen again.
I've leaned an old punched pie pan up in the back. They were punched so the bottom of the crust would cook. Remember, they had wood stoves, so things weren't as regulated as ours are today. They needed the top and the bottom to cook at the same time.

Love the coffee pot and pie tin Marty! The punched bottom is so pretty, I just saw a mesh one on QVC, I like the tin one much better-enjoy:@)
