I wanted something that was really simple and you know the "less is more kind of thing"
So what do you think, are you a less or more is better person. Sometimes I am both.

It looks absolutely perfect! I can't wait to see it in person. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm usually less is more but when it comes to front door wreaths I feel like they need to have a bit more to be seen from the road. Yours looks great!
ReplyDeleteIt's perfect for your Arizona home.
ReplyDeleteI'm both. Sometimes you gotta have more! Your wreath looks perfect.
ReplyDeleteI love it, Marty. Looks so nice on your entry..Christine
ReplyDeletelove your wreath Marty! I'm still looking for my fall wreath, love your burlap ribbon touch. :-)
ReplyDeleteLove the wreath! What a find! and your little ribbon detail is perfect!
ReplyDeleteMarty, the wreath is perfect and looks very good on your front door.
ReplyDeleteMary
Marty, I love your wreath! I guess I am both - it depends.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty Marty! I think I am both as well. Depends on what kind of mood I'm in I guess :)
ReplyDeleteI am so ready for fall and have been decorating quite a bit.
I love it, Marty! I need something thin like this to fit between the main door and storm door. It looks like I'll be making a trip to Home Goods!
ReplyDeleteI agree still tooooooo hot for fall decorations. Your wreath is just right!
ReplyDeleteCathy's Cupboard Calamity <;)
Your wheat wreath looks great Marty. It's still too hot, but mostly humid here today...90 degrees with 75-78% humidity....Hopefully the weather will cool down a little by the end of the week.
ReplyDeleteYou said it "Perfect" the ribbon really set it off! Great job.
ReplyDeleteSandy
Like the polka dot ribbon added. Too hot here in SC to think of fall decor yet.
ReplyDeleteLOVE it! Every addition you made to the wreath is just perfect and that polka dot ribbon in just so fun!
ReplyDeleteAngela @ Number Fifty-Three
As soon as you added the polka dot ribbon it just showed up so nice...not ready for fall yet either.
ReplyDeleteI like it just how you have it, Marty! I had a wreath like this for years until it absolutely fell apart! I need to check out Homegoods. I like the less is more look only because I'm not very crafty and the more I add, the worse it looks! lol!
ReplyDeleteXO,
Jane
Polka dots are the universal solution to anything!! Looks great Marty!
ReplyDeleteJenna
Bonjour,
ReplyDeleteUne très belle couronne remplie de soleil avec ces épis de blé.
Gros bisous
Your wreath is very pretty Marty. I think you did the right thing by adding a bit more to it. Wow, 110 degrees! I can't imagine. We hit a comfortable 73 here today. Hugs, Pam
ReplyDeleteThe wreath is gorgeous and with your Little tweaking here and there, yes!...a Little more is better like the adorable ribbon! Your door is perfectly dressed to welcome Fall...someday I hope, lol..110!!!
ReplyDeleteBig hugs,
FABBY
Love the wreath and the spotty ribbon is divine-love deex
ReplyDeleteLove the wheat wreath Marty and the pretty touches you added to it... Perfect!!
ReplyDeleteI'm both! I'm trying to be a "less is more" person with my Fall decor. We'll see if I succeed. Love your wreath, and the decoration on it is just perfect. Very nice!
ReplyDeleteI tend to be a mininmalist - but in this case I love your embellishments to this amazing wreath.
ReplyDeleteYou know, actually, I tend to heave all sorts of stuff onto my wreaths I design - so perhaps I am not TOTALLY a minimalist after all!!
Looks great and is a perfect transition piece, Marty!
I love your wreath the polka dot really did set it off. I have a hard time with the less is more... I tend to always lean toward the more, but here you have shown here "less is more" It's perfect! Thank you for sharing at One More Time Events.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous Marty!! Love the dots!🍂🍃🍂🍃
ReplyDeleteSuzy
I tend to like more. Your wreath is gorgeous. You had me at the feathers.
ReplyDeleteTraci
I tend to like more. Your wreath is gorgeous. You had me at the feathers.

What a lovely wreath! I'm with you though...not quite ready for fall decorations just yet. It has been near 90 here in NC so I need to feel a little chill in the air first. This weekend it is supposed to cool down....we'll see :)
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Debby
It looks great Marty!
ReplyDeleteI am truly thinking of fall now that we actually have some trees starting to turn.
It's early, but they have been stressed from the heat.
Looking forward to coming out next month, can you fix that 110 degree heat first?
hehe
Hugs friend,
Cindy
Your wreath is lovely and you were very creative with adding the ribbon. Just the right touch !
ReplyDeleteYour wreath is so pretty....love the polka dot ribbon you added for a touch of whimsy :o) Like you sometimes I like more, sometimes less.
ReplyDelete~Des
I love this natural look. last year I wasn't loving my fall wreath, and this is definitely making me think I need to go this route.
ReplyDeletemore IS better :-) The ribbon was the perfect touch! I need to think about taking the crab off my door!!
ReplyDeleteYour wreath is perfect. I know what you mean about it being to hot to decorate for fall, as it is still in the 100's here in Dallas. Wreaths are such a great way to give a hint of a season or holiday without going overboard. Perfect.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Patty at Home and Lifestyle Design
always, more!
ReplyDeletelove your wreath Marty. Perfect against the great chocolate brown door. I need to get started and now I am inspired!
Karen
I love your wreath, Marti; you are so talented and clever! I think the addition of the brown polka dot ribbon is the perfect finishing touch -- makes it pop now. :)
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day!
Denise at Forest Manor
Gorgeous wreath! I absolutely love the addition to the wreath.
ReplyDeleteI'm a more is more gal! Love the polka-dot ribbon -- it sets your wreath off perfectly. And as a fellow Arizonan -- if we waited for the weather to abate, we'd be decorating for fall in November. I've decided to get my fake pumpkins out this weekend and have at it! I've restrained myself long enough.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Wreath !! I love it ! Perfect match for your door !!
ReplyDeleteBest,
Marlin
If I have to pick, I'm a "less is more" person. I don't like a lot of clutter, I tend to dress without a lot of "fluff" and I like things streamlined. However, give me a Christmas tree or a wreath and I go all "more is more" when it comes to ribbons, bling and bows! I love the wreath and love, love the polka dots!
ReplyDeleteI agree, the polka dot ribbon on the wreath makes the whole scene pop. I'm a more type of girl too. I really bling out with color in the fall.
ReplyDeleteI love the bow!! Adds a perfect touch!!
ReplyDeleteJenn
Lovely wreath! I love Home Goods.
ReplyDeleteThat is a pretty wreath! I have tried so hard to embrace less is more, but somehow it never seems to be enough. So I do what you did, add a little something that makes it just right!
ReplyDeleteMorning Marty, funny as you only usually see wreaths on doors here in the UK at Christmas and they are usually quite colourful with holly, berries, oranges, nuts, plus a red ribbon of some sort.
ReplyDeleteThe ribbon you added finished it off. I personally would have the ribbon and feather at the bottom but perhaps I am a bit OCD and like things straight and boring!!
Jackie in Surrey UK.
so pretty Marty/ I love polka dot bows..
ReplyDeleteMarty,
ReplyDeleteI've always been a "More is Better" kinda' lady. . .
especially when marketing for retail $ale$!!!
However, as I return to my Traditional Roots. . .
I've become a bit more streamlined in my home decor!!!
Guess I've sided with the "Less is More" Crowd!!!
Lovely wreath!!!
Love the addition of the polka dotted ribbon!!!
Fondly,
Pat
I love the simplicity of it, Marty! The colors are just perfect for your home and the polka dot ribbon bow is a pretty focal point! Have a great weekend! Hugs, Poppy
ReplyDeleteI am in LOVE with this wreath and the detail you added to it. Pinned :)
ReplyDelete~Katie @ Upcycled Treasures
Very cute - I am sure the weather will get the hint.... lol!
ReplyDeleteMarty your fall wreath is perfection! Love that sweet accent of the ribbon too!

Love your wreath, Marty! The wheat is a great choice and I think you got it just right.
