The Ultimate In Bathroom Luxury & Winners

Since I redid the hall bathroom and repainted the master bathroom, I have had accessories and details on the brain.  I decided to pamper myself with some luxury for the master bath.  Ok, to be honest, I really thought this would be the ultimate luxury detail for the guest bathroom,  but the more I looked at it, the more I thought I needed it for me.

Doesn't this look like a fabulous way to relax and unwind?

A candle, a glass of wine, and a good book.  What else could you possibly want.

I plan to set aside a whole evening, to just relax with a nice long bubble bath.

I need to go buy more bubble bath, I plan on using a lot.

So, how do you spoil yourself?

  1. Oh I am SO glad you found a nice wire rack for your bath. The bubble bath containers are wonderful too!

  2. Hi Marty,
Congrats to the winners. That is a wonderful give away. The faucets are so beautiful. Your nice wire rack for the tube is wonderful too. Enjoy and nice relaxing bubble bath.

  3. Congrats to the winners. Love that rack, could use one for OUR tub:) Enjoy yours!!!!

  4. That looks and sounds like a wonderful idea! Love the rack!

  5. Love the rack - how wonderful it would be to sit and have a bubble bath. But as you get older it's a shower with a seat in the shower stall LOL Those wonderful days are gone.
    Congratulations to the winners.
Have a great day and Happy Labor Day.

    1. Mary I hear you loud and clear. Been ages since I've taken a long hot bath. We are working to enlarge our bath so that we can make a double walk in shower with built in bench. It's a couple of years away though because we do the work ourselves and have to put an addition on the house to replace the closet that we will lose by extending the bath. I'm hoping our 4 person hot tub will be installed next summer. So much to do, so little time. LOL Love the name of your site. Will go and check it out now!

  6. When we get the hot tub that's in storage installed on our new deck, I'll post! For now, watching a good movie on a 55" flat screen TV while cuddling with hubby in a California King bed and no dogs is being spoiled. :) Love your rack though!

  7. I would love t o have one of those bath holder thingies - I take a daily soak - this is the ultimate way of doing so!

I don't use bubble bath - dried out the skin too much - I use CALGON Bath Beads - it smells
heavenly and makes my skin so supple.

Congrats to the winners. I am trying hard not to be jealous, haha, just kidding.

  8. It is not a builder's grade bathroom anymore! Very luxurious. I love the new header and look of your blog too.

  9. Oh Marty,
    This looks heavenly!!! Enjoy!

  10. Wow Marty, that is an awesome idea for the bath! I love you bathroom, the beautiful window with all those little glass candle sweet! Hope you do make time to enjoy a lovely bubble bath and thanks for taking time to stop by and comment on my blog. I appreciate you so much :)

  11. I seriously need that, I mean it's so hard to juggle a glass of wine and a book and turn the pages!

  12. I love reading in my bath. I do it very frequently as when my back begins to hurt, a hot bath can help a lot and it seems better for the health than swallowing chemical pills. Bubble baths can be very irritating for my skin, but I use almond oil and I put a few drops of essential oils in it: thus I can change the scent every day, depending on the season and my mood!

  13. Ummmm.......very nice! I need to look at those wire tub racks, but I'm thinking the span might not be wide enough -- our tub is extremely wide. Maybe The Man will have to build one? He will be sure to thank you, Marty, for adding yet another "do" to his already burgeoning "honey-do!"

  14. Hope you enjoyed your bath. Thanks for sharing at Silver Pennies Sundays. x

  15. Marty it looks heavenly! I'd turn into a prune in there! Enjoy & thanks so much for linking up to its party time. xoxo

  16. The all posts are great. The color combination are great. After seeing all the posts i am fully exited to know deeply about this.
