Show Off & Inspire - Debbie Doo's

I have to say that today I get to feature one of my favorite people in blogland.  Debbie from Debbiedoo's was one of the first blogs I ever followed.  She is such an inspiration to most of us and always so down to earth and helpful in any way possible.   I love her style and she is always so true to who she is and it is so fresh to see.  She is definitely the DIY queen in my mind.  So grab a cup of coffee, you will love seeing some of her projects.

Howdy folks!
I am so happy and honored to be invited to Marty's today to share a little bit about me and my daily shenanigans.
I would say at this point I would consider myself a blogaholic/craftaholic.
You know, you never start off thinking it can happen to you, but it does, it can, and it did.
I am happy though and enjoy what I do and what I share.
Over at my blog Debbiedoo's you will see a lot of budget friendly
diy crafts and home improvement projects.
Because we have a newerish home, there have not been a whole lot of renovations.
In fact, our Newierish home we have tried to make look old. I would say we are defintely eclectic, with an Old World style.
Carolina rustic home
I think for the most part we have achieved that.
We have, however done some outdoor additions to our home
like our
patio and diy pizza oven.
That was a job but one we are very proud of and it sure gets a lot of use.
The only upgrades I would personally love to do most is our bathrooms.
We did also however, a few years back paint our builder grade counter tops and that has been an upgrade that we could afford.

I absolutely love to decorate per season and you can be sure there is always something crafted up.
My diy gallery has well over 200 ideas!

I know it is January and a lot of us in a decorating lull right now.
Right now, I have been cleaning up the Christmas decor and getting ready for the New Year, and getting organized.
We all have that resolution I am betting.

In fact, after I took everything down, I decided to leave my little Charlie Brown Christmas tree up and decorate it for Valentines day.
You may notice our fireplace is a rustic/distressed black color.  I painted that last year, it was an original cherry color and you can check out the deets on that as well.
I think January is definitly going to be a time for me to organize around here and I will be sharing that as well on my how to's.
This past year, I started to bake some more and step outside my comfort zone in trying new things.
You can check out some of my recipe archives.

For now, I think it is time to go paint and spruce things up around here!
I love to paint furniture too!
Thank you Marty for showing me off today over at your place.
I wish you all a very Happy and Healthy new Year!
You can follow me around if you like.

Ok, are you thoroughly impressed or what!!!  You definitely need to go see her DIY Gallery, she has so much to share and it is totally amazing.  If you don't follow her, then you really need to rush over, check out her galleries and click that follow button.
