Friday DIY & Finds

Welcome to Friday DIY & Finds.  This is where I love to share things that caught my eye around blogland this past week.

This buffet is so beautifully displayed not only with her decor but the lovely food presentation also.

This simple centerpiece caught my eye.  I love wheat.

This pretty dough bowl pumpkin arrangement.  The rest of this room is stunning too, take the tour.

This fun Halloween Party.

This pretty $100 Room Challenge Master Bedroom makeover is full of inspiration.

I love this bedroom.  Check out all the details here

Everything in this wonderful Cottage Style Post.

My current DIY is learning to use my new camera.  Here is a practice shot.  If you have any tips for DSLR cameras and how to use all those setting, I am all ears.

  1. Love all your finds. That little eating nook under the stairs is too cute! Perfect place for a cup of coffee and a warm chat with a friend!

  2. Pretty round up! Good luck with the camera...I need some help with mine as well. I actually take most of my photos on my phone...shhhh...

  3. Marty, you rounded up some beautifully inspiring photos. As for the camera, after all these years I am still learning to use mine as well. Courtney, A Thoughtful Place, has a great post on using her DSLR. Just do a search for "camera tips" on her blog and it should come up.

  4. I love all the previews cannot wait to take a look at them all. That cake is amazing on the first one. Very pretty.
    Happy Friday.

  5. Love your finds this weekend. I'm off to read a couple of them.

My DSLR advice: use the tripod and read KariAnne's photography posts.

  6. YouTube is a great source for everything!
