Gather 'Round The Table Thanksgiving Kitchen Tour

With Thanksgiving just around the corner, it is time to start decking the halls.  I don't usually bring out the Christmas trees quite yet, but I do love to add a bit of Holiday Decor to my home.

I am thrilled to be joining Amber @ Follow The Yellow Brick
Home for her Gather 'Round The Table Thanksgiving Tour.  If you are coming over from Poofing The Pillows welcome.  I love how Stacey uses such pretty colors for her table.

Our kitchen is one of my favorite places in our new home.  The remodel was our first project.  I love how it turned out.

This room gets the most wonderful light.  It just always seems like a happy place.

A small island separates the kitchen and breakfast area.  This is a favorite place to add some seasonal decor.

A cloche with some "faux" deserts keeps my waistline in tact.

Can you believe all these years I've never owned a turkey.  I found this one at #Home Goods last week on their close out aisle.  He's a pretty proud bird.

This corner of the kitchen usually gets the most decor mixed in with all the essentials.

I pulled this cute gingerbread sign out of my stash as a reminder to start baking.

My little chef has started celebrating the holidays already.

As you can see, I like to keep the surfaces pretty clean and uncluttered in the kitchen, but I tend to go all out in the breakfast area.

Layering on the table decor is more my style.

Be sure to come back Friday to see all the details.

Next up today is Our Southern Home. Christy's home is stunning and you are going to love her pretty dining room and gorgeous tablescape.

Be sure to check out all the other participants on the tour.  Just click on any link below. There is something for everyone with Tablescapes, Dining Rooms and Kitchens.

To stay up to date on all the makeovers taking place at our new home, I would love to have you follow me.  You don't want to miss any of our "Hits & Misses".

  5. Marty, such a bright, festive area to gather and celebrate! I am loving that big 'ol turkey setting next to the velvet pumpkin. Is he made of wood as he looks hand-carved? A real find!

  8. I love your kitchen so much. You have a talent to make your home look beautiful. I love the idea using a runner under the place setting instead down the middle. I have pinned for inspiration. Thank you for sharing!

  10. Marty,
Your cloche is one of the prettiest ones I have ever seen. And the touches of gold made me think of how you love gold and use it beautifully in your decor year round.

    Happy Thanksgiving, dear friend,

    Judith

  19. Oh Marty, I love that gorgeous kitchen. It is bright, roomy and full of personality. I hate to admit, but I have a little kitchen envy! My kitchen is old and in need of an update so I get such joy when I see a beautiful kitchen. The breakfast nook is a great spot to linger with family and friends.

It was great joining you on this blog hop. Wishing you and your family a blessed Thanksgiving.
