Spring Family Room

We spend most of our time in the family room.  Since it is connected to the kitchen and has the sliding door to the patio, yard and pool, this is where you will find us most any time.  I really like this space.  I wish it were a little bit bigger when we entertain, but I am grateful for what we have.  It's the space I see most often, so it's also the space that I change up the most.

Getting ready for Spring and some cheerful colors is always fun.  I love the bright sunshine and warm temperatures and know that it won't be long and the pool will be warm enough to jump in and take a swim.

I love the combination of yellow and gray - neutral but chic.

The coffee table is really simple with a basket for books, an ivy and candle.

The horse painting and cowhide rug are two of my favorites things in this room.  I think they add just the right character and fun.

Having the kitchen and family room connected means I am always in the middle of the action when we entertain.

It's almost time for our Huge 2019 Spring Home Tours - 30 Homes over 5 days.  Mark your Calendar.

To stay up to date on all the makeovers taking place at our new home, I would love to have you follow me.  You don't want to miss any of our "Hits & Misses".
