Marble Eggs For Easter

I am thrilled to be joining a fun group of 30+ ladies to share our Easter Home Tours today.  Thanks to Amber from Follow The Yellow Brick Home for hosting this fun tour.
If you're coming over from Common Ground, I am sure you enjoyed Debra's Easter as much and I did.  She always has the most unusual and beautiful decor.

Welcome & Happy Easter
Easter and Spring just seem to scream pretty soft pastel colors, so I decided that is exactly what I needed.  For the 2019 Spring Home Tour I used a gorgeous bright Fuchsia Pink.  I also showed several different changes that could be made by just swapping out a pillow or two.  One of those examples used a really soft pallet of pale blue.  That is what I have decided to use for Easter.

I swapped out the gray throw blanket for this really fun white fur.  It just added a bit of glamour to the room.

A few flowering branch stems moved from the dining table to the coffee table.

These chess pieces add something different to the mix.

I use to have quite a few rabbits of different sizes and shapes, but when we moved and I was purging, it seems like I took them all to Goodwill.  I don't currently have any, but I do have a great collection of marble eggs.

I picked out some pretty soft colors and added them to the dish on the coffee table.  That's my homage to Easter.

One of my favorite things about this house are the 9ft. windows.  I adore all that light.  My tall plant really loves this light too.  It is growing like a weed.

The white chair in the front window really does become my dumpling ground most of the time.  I walk in the door, take off my shoes (I love to go barefoot) and drop my bag.  For this picture, I did straighten them all up a bit.

The soft blue is a pretty change for Easter.

The adjoining Dining Area got a little touch of blue too.

Again I thought I would showcase a few of my Egg collecton.  Two Fabrege eggs and two crystal ones.

A huge bunch of tulips are always a favorite too.

The Kitchen & Breakfast Table had to have a bit of Easter too.

Yellow always makes me think of Spring and Easter - it's one of my favorite colors.

This is the corner where I always have fun decorating.

Some eggs next to my Drunken Chef

My signature pig is on the island smiling about those beautiful yellow tulips.

The Breakfast Table is where we have most of our meals, so it is a favorite to change up and add the different seasons.

Some flowering branches mixed in with wheat create a pretty floral display.

My Bunny Tureen takes center stage.

Isn't he just the most fun.  He's searing some vegetables and apretty strawberry on his back.

My favorite room in the house.

That's it for our Easter.  Hope you enjoyed looking around.

Be sure to come back Wednesday to see a Step by Step Tutorial to Setting The Perfect Easter Table.

Next up on the tour is Our Southern Home. You are going to love Christy's home, it speaks Southern Hospitality in spades.

  11. Those powder blue pillows make me want to use more blue in my house. They really just cozy up your room so much, Marty... in an elegant/casual way. This might be my favorite so far! Although those leopard ones are so great, too. You were a smart cookie to create such a neutral space with all your other furnishings allowing you to change it up with accent colors, patterns and textures when the mood hits!

  20. Marty every time I think I have a favorite color scheme that you have chosen, you change it up, and I change my mind. This soft blue is so beautiful for Easter! I love the branches in the vase and all of the different eggs you shared. I can't believe I forgot all about my marble eggs! I will have to share them soon, you inspired me. Your dining room table is so elegant. White tulips are my favorite and I love how yours are gracefully drooping. Your styling is so chic and sophisticated but never unapproachable. Your home "feels" welcoming and warm.

The kitchen is the heart of the home and I can see why you love yours! Little piggie looks great year round but he is especially perfect in spring, reminds me of country springs on the farm. The bunny tureen is wonderful too!

  24. Marty, I love the idea of using the white rabbit fur throw for Easter. I have a similar one I put away in February that I'm going to pull out to complement all the bunnies in my living room decorations. Not sure how I'm ever going to part with my bunnies someday --- at least not voluntarily LOL!
