Mother's Day Brunch

I have such wonderful memories of my mother.  She was so full of life and so fun.  She went home to be with the Lord many years ago, but she left such a legacy that even her grandchildren talk about her all the time.  That's quite the legacy.

She would be all about a big family dinner and everyone laughing and talking all at the same time.  Plenty of good food (she was a great cook) and always something fabulous for dessert.

I honor and remember her everyday, so for this Mother's Day I want to celebrate my Daughter and my Daughter-in-loves. On a side note - my daughter is the only girl in our family, we only have boys, so I have to rely on all the boys marrying wonderful ladies so I can have more daughters.

Thanks to Amber from Follow The Yellow Brick Home for hosting this fun Mother's Day Hop.  I am always amazed by her creativity, I know she will inspire you too, so be sure to check out her post.

You will find a list of all the participants at the bottom of the post.

I've set the table for a fun Brunch instead of a Traditional Tea to celebrate these beautiful ladies.  Since our weather has warmed up, I thought everyone would enjoy some refreshing Iced Tea served in these pretty frosted stems.

I loved the pretty blue and white tablescape I had for Easter, so I just revamped it a bit for Mother's Day.  I don't think you have to reinvent the wheel to have a beautiful change. (You can see how I used the same ideas to revamp the living room for Spring into Summer here.)

The morning sun pouring in through the front window always makes the dining area look dreamy.  I am a sunshine girl and this room just glows.

I added a few yellow tulips to my pretty white bouquet.  That's a great way to refresh an arrangement.  There's also a special "I Love You Gift" at each placesetting.

I continued the yellow influence by adding a yellow napkin to the paisley one I already had on the table.

By keeping all the accessories white, the table looks fresh and bright.

A pretty table to celebrate the Mother's in my life.

Next up is Christy @ Our Southern Home.   Her classic style always makes me take notice.  I know you will be inspired too.

Be sure to check out all the other ladies on the tour.  I know you will find tons of inspiration and ways to celebrate the Mother's in your life.

To stay up to date on all the makeovers taking place at our new home, I would love to have you follow me.  You don't want to miss any of our "Hits & Misses".
