2021 Holiday Home – Kitchen/Laundry

How fun is this.  I love being able to join 11 Magnolia Lane and Evolution of Style for their 2021 Holiday Home – Kitchen/Laundry edition.  My kitchen is my favorite room in my home.  I love to add a touch of Christmas decor to this area.

If you are coming over from Amanda @ Sincerely,MarieDesigns, welcome.  I am sure you loved her beautifully decorated kitchen too.  She always adds so many special touches to create one-of-a-kind spaces.

My kitchen is small, but a huge walk-in pantry makes up for the small size.  This was our first makeover immediately after we moved into this house 5 years ago and it is still my favorite.  You can see where we started and the makeover reveal here.

A Hot Chocolate Bar,  my fun Chef Santa, and a few small wreaths are enough to add a bit of Christmas Cheer to the back wall.

The island is always my favorite place to add a fun vignette.

Santa, my candy tree, and some yummy baked goods.

Next to the island is our Breakfast Eating area.

This is where I like to add a fun tablescape for the grands.

Santa and his horse pulling a sleigh full of toys for all the good little girls and boys.

This year I have one more addition to my decor.  The laundry room opens right off the kitchen and dining area, so I thought it should be included too.

Earlier this year, I did a makeover in my laundry room.  It is just a pass-through to the garage, but I wanted it to have a little personality.  It was so drab and doing laundry certainly wasn’t inspiring.  Now I think it is super fun and looks like it belongs to the rest of the house.  Since it is next to the kitchen, I thought it deserved a little Christmas Decor too.

As you can see, this is just a hallway to the garage.  No room for anything but the washer and dryer.

A Snowman, silly elf, and some ornaments add holiday cheer to the shelves.

Next up on the tour is Tammy @ Pink Peppermint Design.  She is so talented, I am sure her kitchen will be full of inspiration.  She always amazes me.

Be sure to check out all the tours all week long.  Each day 6 ladies will share different rooms in their homes.

It looks great, Marty, and I’m so glad you included your laundry room. They deserve to look festive, too! Love the makeover you gave it, by the way. I hope you have lots of family visiting for Christmas. Thanks for touring with us again, and Merry (early) Christmas!

Marty, I always enjoy your decorating, but I honestly think the laundry space decorated for Christmas is my favorite! How cool to add some cheer to this often overlooked space.

Thanks so much for joining the Grace at Home party at Imparting Grace. I’m featuring you this week!
