Goodwill Was Loaded - I Found Great Stuff

I had such a great time at Goodwill today. When I drove by on Saturday there were about 10 cars all lined up to make donations. Well, I was out and about today so I thought I would stop in and see if there were any goodies. Just as I walked in they were unloading cart after cart of goodies. I got first pick. How cool is that.

Look at this wonderful picture. Love the shape and the detail. It is really huge, what a great treasure.

I found this same canister set for me in green last week, then my son said he would like to have one, so today there was this one in blue. How perfect.

Look at this sweet little bottle. Flat on one side, rounded on the other and such a cute little pour spout and handle.

It's oval in shape. Now this will be wonderful with something in it for my kitchen counter.

Love this precious dish. Such beautiful detail.

Just look at the berries and leaves. Isn't it just wonderful.

Lifts and columns. How fabulous is that. Love the crackled finish.

Just look at the beautiful detail. I can think of a million ways to use these.

Today was Senior Day and 25% off, so I got everything for $16.90. How cool is that.

Thanks for stopping by, I really love your visits.

  1. "OH MY GOODNESS"... You hit the jack pot!!!!!!!!! LOVE that big white pitcher, Maybe it was part of a pitcher&bowl set? OH have you created a "NEED" here! Is there any name on the bottom? You are going to have SUCH fun arranging and re-arranging. Which one gets to sleep under your pillow tonight???

  2. You did really, really well! My GW isn't the best and all the other ones are a real schlep from my house. Once in a while I try the one near my mom's house but my sis usually beats me to all the goodies!

  3. Hi, you really scored big at GW!! Isn't it amazing the fabulous things one can find there! I usually go twice a week to the one in the next town, and I try to go once each week to the one in another neighboring town. Sometimes I find great things, and sadly, sometimes I leave empty-handed :( But, you never know if there's something waiting for you if you don't go and check it out, right :)

Thanks for sharing your wonderful treasures! Warmest, Brenda

  4. What a nice haul! The pitcher would have been enough for me.

Something is terribly fishy with our Goodwill. I think someone scouts out the goods before they go on the floor.

  26. Wow!! You definitely hit the jackpot today. Lots of great stuff for very little money!! That's my way to shop.

I went thrifting today as well. I hit two different stores and came away with 9 damask napkins, linen tablecloth, white eyelet pillowcase, and 2 sets of napkin rings (one 6 piece, one 4)...all for about $8. The napkins were at GW and whatever color they were (green or blue), was 50% off today, so I got all 9 napkins (brand new, I think) for $1.49!!

Oh, that pitcher is especially gorgeous!!

    Blessings,

My you have been finding some great things lately!!

Did I tell you I am on a spending sabbatical? Yup, no spending except on necessities! It is amazing how much stuff I don't need- even with the food- I have
been using what I have in pantry and freezer- need to use up some of the things that have been around a bit long!! It really has been kind of fun seeing what I can come up with to cook with the things I have.
